In order to avoid the hyperinflation and corruption that has plagued countries that politicized their central banks, the Fed must remain independent.
Trump’s health care cuts and chaotic tariffs are creating a crisis, and he won’t even meet with Democratic leaders to negotiate a fix.
We need a bipartisan budget that lowers costs. Time to come to the table.

Today I met with my Environment & Energy Advisory Committee to discuss the latest on Revolution Wind, our work to protect environmental protection programs from Trump administration cuts, and to discuss strategy for lowering costs sustainably for consumers.

For years, airlines had to refund passengers when flights were canceled or delayed. Trump just scrapped that rule.
I am joining 77 colleagues to call for it to be restored.
