Thank you to Samaritan House in San Mateo for all the work you do to support our community, including running the Safe Harbor Shelter in South San Francisco, which I recently visited. Helping the unhoused with wrap-around services is essential to getting them stabilized and into permanent housing.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms who make everything possible.
And a special thank you to my wife Jessica, you are the backbone to our family. Your dedication and devotion to the community inspires me and our children. #mothersday
The anniversary of FDA’s approval of the first birth control pill marks a medical breakthrough that expanded freedom, opportunity & bodily autonomy for millions worldwide. +60yrs later, Republicans are attacking reproductive rights & restricting access to contraception, family planning & healthcare.

Each year, I’m inspired by the creativity of our high school artists in the #CongressionalArtCompetition. Congrats to San Francisco 10th grader Frank Ouyang, for his winning piece “The Sound of Freedom,” inspired by jazz’s legacy in uplifting underrepresented voices- thanks to all who participated!
Had a great time visiting the National Archives in San Bruno—Getting to see the original Birthright Citizenship case file along with many other incredible records was so inspiring. Grateful for such an amazing historical resource right here in the heart of our district!

I’m proud to represent the vibrant and diverse AANHPI community in California’s 15th District. I'm grateful for the organizations that uplift our AANHPI communities, and I'm committed to continuing that work.
Workers are the backbone of our communities & economy. Proud to be in solidarity with the San Mateo Labor Council & unions this #MayDay. While Trump attacks workers’ rights, takes away health care from families & his billionaire buddies profit, we stand to defend workers & the right to organize!
These funds support practical, locally-driven projects that boost safety, improve disaster resilience & modernize essential infrastructure. By working closely with local partners, we’re turning priorities identified on the ground into real progress.
