Great participating in Earth Day celebrations in Hudson County with HCIA —where the community is leading the way toward a cleaner, greener future. I’m committed to protecting green spaces, investing in resilient infrastructure, and meeting our environmental challenges head-on.
Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander voices strengthen and uplift our communities. As a proud @capac.house.gov member, I stand with New Jersey’s #AANHPI communities—this month and every month—to amplify your voices and advocate for your needs.
Proud to relaunch the Men's Health Caucus alongside my co-chairs. We're committed to encouraging men and boys to take proactive steps to protect their health - through prevention, early detection, and seeking support when it’s needed.
People in New Jersey and across the country rely on PBS and NPR to inform, educate, and inspire—without all the noise. The Trump Admin’s decision to cut their funding threatens to further silence trusted voices our communities count on, from classrooms to kitchen tables.
BREAKING: President Trump signs executive order to end federal funding of NPR and PBS.
It's always great meeting students with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities to say hello 👋 We must continue advocating for Latino students, Dreamers, and strong education funding to ensure every student is prepared for the jobs of the future. Thanks for stopping by!
Protecting Americans’ personal information and sensitive data isn’t a Democrat and Republican issue - it’s one that impacts all Americans. That’s why we ALL need to call out DOGE & the Trump Administration for making our data less secure and weaponizing it against our neighbors.
Workers across America keep our country running. On #InternationalWorkersDay, I joined the IAM and my @laborcaucus.house.gov colleagues to address the importance of fighting for fair wages, safety, and dignity—especially with Trump in office. Your fight is our fight and we are in this - together.🤝
Fair and affordable housing is a human right. That’s why I hosted a roundtable, along with my @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social colleagues and advocates, to discuss housing solutions and push back against Trump’s cuts to vital HUD programs. Great conversation, more work to do.
Trump and DOGE are collecting & misusing Americans’ personal data. Their collection of sensitive & personal information puts Americans at risk. Russian IP addresses have already tried to infiltrate our systems. AND the Admin is using the data AGAINST our neighbors. Now is the time for action.
Great speaking with the National Association of Hispanic Publications yesterday. Thankful for the amazing work they do in uplifting Hispanic journalists to better serve our communities — and great to run into my friend, Congresswoman Pou!

Clean, renewable energy is the key to our future - and with this Administration, we need to fight for it. So when Republicans wouldn’t talk about it today - because it would mean disagreeing with Trump - I set the record straight ⬇️

On Day 100 of Trump 2.0, Republicans on @energycommerce.bsky.social raised the issue of mental health. Yet they never seem concerned about the harm and mental strain this Administration is causing to communities - every. single. day. So I decided to call them on it and will continue to do so.
Seems like the GOP lives in an alternate reality. They say they want to work on a bipartisan basis on critical issues like mental health but are silent when Trump is dismantling programs that already exist. Our constituents expect us to call out this harm and that’s exactly what we’ll do.
TL:DR it’s an honor to represent you and our community in Congress. And we are fighting every day to drive the change everyone needs and deserves. These are tough times but I believe in the people who call this district home and I know that we can get to those better tomorrows - together.
And in these challenging times, there are some really incredible things happening. I had the chance to meet with Hoboken High School’s Aviation Class, where the talented team of public educators are training the next generation of pilots, innovators, engineers, and mechanics!
On Thursday, I made an unannounced visit to the Elizabeth Detention Center with @kim.senate.gov. In addition to checking on the conditions, we also got to speak to individuals from NJ who are being held there. Their stories fuel the work we do every single day.
We also met with Ukrainians from Jersey City and Bayonne who are rightfully terrified of the actions being taken by the Trump Administration. I’ll always fight for our Ukrainian neighbors. 🇺🇦
