It’s great to be in my hometown of Pennsauken today to deliver a $850,000 investment that supports the people who keep our community running. From trash collection to snow removal and pothole repair, Public Works crews provide essential services we rely on every day.
During American Red Cross Month, we recognize Clara Barton’s extraordinary legacy. Before founding the Red Cross, she established New Jersey’s first free public school because she believed education should be available to all. Her life of service continues to inspire generations.
I rode my bike to celebrate a big milestone today: construction is beginning on the Camden County LINK Trail. This 34-mile trail will connect communities, support local businesses, and create more opportunities for people to walk, run, and bike across South Jersey.
Workers are the backbone of America’s economy and they deserve to be recognized for their hard work. On #EmployeeAppreciation day, we stand with workers everywhere in the fight for fair pay, safe workplaces, and dignity on the job.
Great to meet with the new Food Bank of South Jersey CEO, Jane Asselta, to discuss the work they are doing in South Jersey. No family should worry about putting food on the table, and I will keep fighting in Congress to make sure help is there for those who need it.
I joined 85+ House Dems to oppose the Department of Education’s proposed RISE rule. The RISE rule comes from Trump’s Big Ugly Law, and would restrict graduate loan access and eliminate affordable repayment options, making college even less affordable. Students deserve opportunity, not more debt.
During Irish American Heritage Month, we recognize the generations of Irish Americans who helped build South Jersey. This month, we celebrate their legacy and the values of hard work, perseverance, and service they continue to bring to our region today.
