It's time for the Trump Administration to uphold its obligations on the Brandon Road Interbasin Project. Illinois has spearheaded this to protect the entire Great Lakes, but they continue to throw up roadblocks. Stop playing political games and move this project forward.

Fewer Illinois residents are enrolling in SNAP after Trump’s Big Ugly Bill slashed the program. This is not a win. Families are still hungry, and with grocery prices continuing to rise, people are going to be skipping meals to make sure their kids can eat.

If the first hundred tariffs don’t succeed, tariff, tariff again. After his past tariffs and war with Iran already raised prices, Trump just imposed new tariffs on dozens of imported goods, meaning coffee and clothing will be even MORE expensive. This is what failed economic policy looks like.

I’m joining @repnellie.bsky.social in making sure everyone detained by ICE still has freedom of religion.   Muslim people currently taken by ICE have been forbidden from practicing their faith. If these detainees were of any other faith, we would see outrage from across the political spectrum.
