The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office just confirmed Trump’s tax scheme would: ✅ Add $2.4 trillion to the deficit ❌ Kick 11M off health insurance ❌ Cut food aid for 3.2M Americans All for billionaire tax breaks. The GOP’s priorities couldn’t be clearer. apnews.com/article/cbo-...
Trump’s first travel ban was born out of fear and hostility, and it fundamentally betrayed America's founding ideals. This latest iteration does not make Americans safer—it only serves to weaken our standing in the world.
President Trump signed a proclamation Wednesday that bans nationals from a dozen countries, including Afghanistan, Haiti and the Republic of Congo, from entering the United States, framing the travel ban as necessary to fortify national security.
Hickman’s Family Farms lost 95% of its flock to an avian flu outbreak. This unmitigated spread puts Arizona jobs at risk and threatens to keep raising egg prices. I’m calling on USDA to reinstate a comprehensive vaccination strategy ASAP.
Extreme heat can be dangerous and even deadly. Arizonans understand the danger. It’s time for the federal government to take it seriously too. My bill with @titus.house.gov unlocks more resources from FEMA so our communities can better respond.
Your patience has paid off, Arizona—construction on the I-10 Broadway curve is finally done! Valley residents can now enjoy wider lanes, less traffic, and safer travel—made possible through Prop 400 funding and our Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Arizonans understand that extreme heat can be dangerous and deadly—just like any natural disaster. My bill with Congresswoman Dina Titus ensures it’s treated that way, with the same federal response and resources.
4 in 5 Americans agree that Members of Congress shouldn’t be playing the stock market. I’m backing the bipartisan TRUST in Congress Act to ban lawmakers from trading individual stocks and begin restoring trust in our government.
This is the second targeted attack on the Jewish community in two weeks.   It follows a disturbing trend of hate speech, vandalism, threats, and violence that is intended to strike fear and terror into our Jewish neighbors.   Staying silent—or rationalizing terror—is complicity. Full stop.
BREAKING: The man charged with a federal hate crime in the attack in Boulder, Colorado, told police he planned it for a year, the FBI says.
The head of FEMA doesn’t know we have a hurricane season? This is what happens when loyalty to Trump is prioritized over actual qualifications—and it’s everyday Americans who pay the price when disaster strikes.
Exclusive: FEMA staff confused after head said he was unaware of US hurricane season, sources say reut.rs/3SxBvuL
I am horrified by the violence at Boulder’s “Run for Their Lives” event supporting Israeli hostages. My prayers are with the victims. Antisemitism is on the rise, and we must confront it together. Hate has no place in America.
Our air traffic control system is stretched thin. That’s why I’ve introduced the bipartisan Air Traffic Control Workforce Development Act to help the U.S. maintain our gold standard of aviation safety.
Thank you to the LGBTQ+ community for your presence & pride and for all you do to enrich Arizona. You should never fear being who you are or apologize for who you love. For those struggling—I see you, I stand with you, and I’ll keep fighting for you. Stay strong. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Children across Arizona rely on SNAP to stay fed. Families and seniors depend on Medicaid for lifesaving care. These programs also keep kids in school and help lower insurance premiums for everyone. But the Republican tax scheme guts all of it—just to hand billionaires massive tax breaks.
The environmental review process for infrastructure is too slow. Projects like the I-11 take years to get off the ground. My bipartisan bill with Rep. Dusty Johnson will digitize & streamline the permitting process for AZ’s transportation infrastructure. stanton.house.gov/press-releas...
Billionaires get the tax break—working families get the bill. The GOP tax scam would rip health care from seniors, cut nutrition aid for kids, and explode the deficit by $3.8 trillion. More from @abc15.com ⬇️
25,000 clean energy jobs in our state are in jeopardy so billionaires can pad their pockets. Here’s what the GOP tax scam does: guts clean energy investments, drives up your power bill, and brings more pollution to Arizona. www.azcentral.com/story/news/l...
