Insanity. Weeks after the deadliest U.S. plane crash in decades, Elon Musk & DOGE wanted to fire air traffic controllers! Credit where due: Secretary Duffy stood up to Musk & put a stop to that reckless plan. Now USDOT should hire back the air traffic control support staff it let go.
Trump’s flip-flop on tariffs is causing economic chaos. Your 401(k) is down, prices are up and Arizona businesses can't plan for the future. I've introduced a resolution to terminate his authority to implement unchecked tariffs on Canada and Mexico. The latest from @kold.com ⬇️
Trump cheered TSMC’s $100 billion investment in Arizona... and then turned around said he wanted to get rid of our CHIPS Act that made it possible. The CHIPS Act has been huge for our state’s economy, and I’ll fight to protect it. More from @abc15.com ⬇️
Trump’s cuts to the Social Security Administration will mean longer wait times and disrupted benefits for Arizona seniors. Shutting down offices and slashing staff isn't 'efficiency'—it’s a back-door benefit cut, and we won’t stand for it.
Trump just said he wanted to get rid of the CHIPS Act—two days after his administration celebrated a massive manufacturing investment in Arizona made possible by this bipartisan bill! We should be looking to build on this successful policy, not tear it up.
I met with my Veterans Advisory Council to discuss how Congress can better serve our heroes—including by passing my bill to make it easier for veterans to apply for and receive benefits through accredited attorneys, agents and veteran service organizations.
Trump wants to "get rid of the CHIPS Act"?! This is a direct attack on Arizona’s semiconductor industry and tens of thousands of Arizona workers. TSMC's $100 billion investment announced yesterday would not have happened without this bipartisan bill, period.
Trump has plunged our economy into a crisis entirely of his own making with tariffs that will raise prices on everything from gas to groceries. Inflation is up. The stock market is down. Consumer spending is down. GDP forecasts are down.
Here’s who’s gotten caught up in Trump & DOGE’s purge of federal workers: – nurses & therapists at the Phoenix VA – a veteran administering loans to build water infrastructure in rural AZ – air traffic control staff keeping our skies safe How is this making life better for Arizonans?
I'm proud to have Native Health CEO Walter Murillo as my guest for today's Joint Address to Congress. Nearly half of all patients Native Health serves rely on AHCCCS, Arizona's Medicaid system. As the Trump admin pushes major cuts to Medicaid, it's the most vulnerable Arizonans that will be hurt.
Trump's abandonment of the Ukrainian people and full embrace of Putin is a direct threat to our national security and standing in the world. This decision will make our allies—and our adversaries—question America's commitment to defending democracy and standing against tyranny.
JUST IN: President Donald Trump is ordering a pause on military aid to Ukraine after a hostile Oval Office meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. cnn.it/3XP3Ekf
We're not going to allow Trump & extreme Republicans in Congress to steal your hard-earned benefits to line the pockets of billionaires.
Over 200 House Democrats stand united in fighting to prevent cuts to Medicaid, Social Security, & Medicare. These vital programs support millions of seniors and hardworking families, and New Dems are proud to join @usprogressives.bsky.social demanding Speaker Johnson stop these cuts.
