We're facing a perfect storm this year for a devastating wildfire season — yet the Trump Administration is making moves that leave us all less safe.
We need to move forward together, invest in active forest management, and stay focused on protecting the communities and ecosystems we depend on.
From gas to groceries — Trump is putting financial stress on Americans who are just trying to get by.
Trump needs to start fixing the mess he made.
For some families, the cost of childcare is the same as their mortgage. This is not sustainable for everyday Americans.
That is why I am working on legislation to cap childcare costs at 7% of a family's income.
It is time that we deliver real relief to hardworking parents.
I’m hosting a telephone town hall on Wednesday, July 1, at 5:00 pm PT, and I hope you can join me! 📞

Since the start of Trump's costly war with Iran, Americans have spent an average of $40 MORE at the gas pump.
That's money that could have been used to put food on the table.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service plans to hire more staff after it slashed nearly a quarter of its employees due to Trump's Big Ugly Bill. Make it make sense.
Healthcare costs for some Oregonians have doubled and even tripled, and millions of Americans have had to make the difficult choice of whether they can afford lifesaving healthcare.
This is a choice that NO ONE should ever, and I mean ever, have to make.
The Trump Administration is leaving rural America on the back burner... and they know it too.
By gutting their workforce, they are leaving my farmers and producers without the resources and support they need to thrive.
I have @replamonica.bsky.social's back, and so do my @housedemocrats.bsky.social colleagues.
ANNOUNCEMENT 🗣️ I will be hosting a LIVE telephone town hall next Wednesday, July 1, from 5 pm to 6 pm PT!
RSVP using the link below to ask me a question and learn more about how I’m fighting for Oregonians!

As a member of the @reprocaucus.bsky.social and @demwomencaucus.bsky.social, I'll keep fighting until we fully restore, protect, and expand reproductive freedom across the country. (2/2)
Four years ago, SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade — delivering a devastating blow for millions of women to make informed choices about their bodies. (1/2)

Four years ago, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, eliminating a woman’s right to choose.
Since then, Republican extremists have fought to further restrict women’s reproductive freedoms.
House Democrats are fighting back. We will always stand up for reproductive rights.
As Co-Chairs of the SEEC Innovation and Technology Task Force, @kevinmullin.house.gov and I toured several locations in the Bay Area that are advancing clean-energy solutions.
If we want lower costs and a more resilient grid, we need to support the innovators who do this work every day.
As temperatures climb across the Willamette Valley, take a moment to learn about preventing heat-related illnesses.
Keep cool, stay hydrated, and visit 211info.org to find a cooling center near you!
Trump blatantly uses the presidency for personal gain while Americans struggle in a broken economy. He should be helping families get ahead — not padding his wallet.
To lower energy costs and make the grid reliable, we need to invest in innovation today.
American innovators are already developing next‑gen energy storage and building a stronger, more secure energy future. As SEEC Co‑Chair, I’m committed to keeping the federal government a strong partner.
These next few days are going to be very hot! Make sure to stay hydrated and cool — to locate a cooling center, visit www.211info.org/get-help/extreme-heat/ or call 211 for a location near you.
