Regardless of which party folks are from, everyone I talk to across Florida is concerned about the property insurance crisis.
And Florida is not alone.
Join me tomorrow to discuss our property insurance crisis and how we can address it.
The property insurance crisis in Florida and nationwide is real and urgent, especially with hurricane season now underway.
That’s why I’m hosting a policy briefing tomorrow to discuss the crisis and explore solutions.
You won’t want to miss it!
WAKE UP AMERICA!
TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE POWER OF PREVENTION AND HOW IT KEEPS OUR FAMILIES SAFE!
JOB CORPS IS PREVENTION 101!
CALL YOUR CONGRESSPERSON NOW AND DEMAND “HANDS OFF JOB CORPS!”
Let the JUSTICE SYSTEM prepare to deal with increased criminal activities in our communities.
Let the mortuaries plan to expand the tombstones in cemeteries because people will die.
So, with the closure of JOB CORPS, let us prepare to expand the bed count in private prisons. Let the homeless shelters know, and the cities know, that the homeless population will increase.
Job Corps centers have saved the lives of young people for generations.
These centers serve as great PREVENTION tools, especially for the loss and left out—PREVENTION, which is needed; PREVENTION, which has proven that it works and that it changes lives.
🧵My name is Frederica PREVENTION Wilson and I have been an ardent supporter of JOB CORPS CENTERS since their founding because Job Corps delivers LIFE CHANGING PREVENTION!
Now, the Trump Administration is closing Job Corps centers nationwide.
My heart goes out to the victims of the horrific hate crime in Boulder, Colorado, targeting Jewish Americans.
Antisemitism is on the rise, and we must work together to ensure that every person feels safe, no matter who they are. Hate has no place in our country.
EVEN A REPUBLICAN SENATOR AGREES THAT CUTTING MEDICAID IS A DEATH SENTENCE!
Happy Pride Month! I am proud to stand with the LGBTQI+ community today and everyday.
This month is a powerful reminder that the fight for equality is far from over, but we will continue to fight for the LGBTQI+ community everyday. 🏳️🌈
This decision is cruel and inhumane. These are folks who were escaping brutal dictatorships, gang violence, and turmoil.
These Cubans, Haitians, Venezuelans, and Nicaraguans came here legally and contribute to our South Florida community. Deporting them is a death sentence.
Today, we honor and remember the heroes who put their lives on the line to protect us, our freedoms, and our nation.
Let us give thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. They must never be forgotten. #MemorialDay
I will never stop standing up for the rights of immigrants!
We are an immigrant rich nation and we must fight for immigrant justice.
Join me and the Divine Nine of Miami-Dade as I present over $1 million to the Divine Nine!
You won’t want to miss it!
Republicans just voted to gut health care for nearly 14 million Americans and slash food assistance—just to reward billionaire donors.
People will die. Children will go hungry. This bill is simply inhumane.
I voted no and we must keep working to defeat this bill!
I was so happy to meet with Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and members of the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners to discuss ways the federal government can help uplift Miami-Dade County.
We are all united to support the future of Miami-Dade and ensure all residents can thrive!
I was proud to meet with the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, alongside representatives from FIU and Miami-Dade College, in my office today.
Together, we are dedicated to uplifting the future of Miami-Dade County.
On this #CubanIndependenceDay, we honor the enduring spirit of the Cuban people who’ve long fought for freedom. 🇨🇺
Though they remain oppressed under a cruel dictatorship, today reminds us that the fight for freedom for the Cuban people must go on.
This is simply an outrageous attempt to intimidate members of Congress and Democrats stand with @replamonica.bsky.social!
Rep. McIver lawfully visited a detention center, and now the administration is targeting her in a blatant attempt to undermine checks and balances and intimidate those who speak out against them.
