Great meeting with Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council and the Executive Director, Chris Danch!
We discussed important steps to enhance fire safety in Ojai and how to strengthen efforts to protect homes and other property in the community.
While not perfect, I supported this stopgap measure to keep the government running & prevent further harm.
I hope my colleagues across the aisle spend the holidays reflecting on how to set aside infighting for the sake of those we serve.
Sadly, this chaos in governing has further become the norm for Republican leadership, and its unpredictability has real consequence for American businesses and Central Coast families.
