BIG NEWS: Yesterday, I announced homegrown NW Ohio aerospace company SierraLobo has received a major $282 Million award from NASA to develop new and existing technologies to advance space flight missions in low Earth orbit, to the moon, Mars, and beyond.
2/3 or nearly $40 Billion in foreign aid for Ukraine would actually go to American factories spread out across our country. This includes plants from Lima, OH, to Scranton, PA. What America makes and grows, makes and grows America while helping our allies.
“Congresswoman, why is there no memorial for the veterans of World War II?”

NEWS: Ohio will receive $210 Million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to update essential drinking water and wastewater infrastructure and replace lead service lines.

We’ve lost too many of our finest service members at a young age during routine training missions. Something is not functioning, and we need to identify and address the root causes to prevent future tragedies. I stand ready to work with anyone willing to address these issues.
I honor the five brave Marines we lost in a CH-53E training mishap this past week: LCpl Donovan Davis, Sgt Alec Langen, Capt Benjamin Moulton, Capt Jack Casey, and Capt Miguel Nava. We must honor their loss by working to ensure such accidents can’t recur.
This week the USDA sent letters to 47 Governors regarding their SNAP program’s performance and operations. I will continue to work with anyone willing to help protect and expand this vital program. You can find Secretary Vilsack’s letter to Governor Mike DeWine here:
While the House Republicans target 5 million of the poorest Americans by torpedoing food programs and refusing to raise the minimum wage, I’m working to get healthy food to hardworking Americans just struggling to get by.
Delighted to announce we are accepting applications for my Washington office's Summer 2024 internship cohort. We are looking for hardworking, bright individuals that want to gain invaluable experience working in public service — apply now! Please apply by Thursday, February 29th.

I applaud the Senate taking an important step toward passage of critical security supplemental aid and call on Speaker Johnson to allow a House vote as soon as possible following the likely final passage of this package in the Senate.
Our allies in Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and those in desperate need of humanitarian aid in Gaza are relying on American leadership not brinksmanship.
