My new bipartisan Nuclear Ecosystem Drone Defense (NEDD) Act will give the department the tools needed to defend all its nuclear and national security assets from drones. (2/2)

Unauthorized drones pose a serious threat to America’s nuclear resources related to national security, including at Nevada National Security Sites. But the Department of Energy lacks the authority to protect their entire nuclear ecosystem against them. (1/2)

Nevada is one of the most biodiverse places in the country. But government red tape is getting in the way of maximizing our taxpayer dollars to invest in wildlife conservation.
I’m championing a bipartisan bill to ensure these funds earn interest & grow before being used for conservation projects.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀
The highly unusual water releases from California dams in January were a risky and wasteful political stunt that jeopardized Nevada’s water. And it didn’t help LA at all.
Rep. Mike Levin and I wrote a letter to the Commanding General of USACE to understand exactly what happened.
Just a friendly PSA to drive safe and be responsible this weekend when out on our roads, bike paths, and sidewalks.
I’ve secured millions of dollars to invest in traffic safety and law enforcement, but ultimately it takes all of us to keep our roads safe.
Last weekend, NV-03’s own Isaiah Misailegalu passed his American Idol audition, and I got to congratulate him from the House floor. Southern Nevada couldn’t be prouder.
Congrats Isaiah – you’re going to Hollywood!
Holi is a time for communities to gather together and celebrate the arrival of spring. May the Festival of Colors bring you and your family joy, renewal, and hope for the coming year.
Happy Holi!
The Secretary of Education wants to eliminate her own department, and it will crush special education in public schools.
Kids with disabilities like dyslexia, autism, or speech impairments won’t get the education they need.
This administration is hurting our kids.
I'll work with anyone to cut waste, but Elon Musk's DOGE has done nothing to lower costs for working families. He wants to give tax cuts to the rich at everyone else's expense.
It only takes 3 House Republicans to stand up to Musk.

Seriously? The Secretary of Education doesn’t know what the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act is?
Their plan is to cut special ed programs, dismantle the Education Department, and defund our schools to give tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy.
It’s a fight for our kids.
Republicans have control of Congress and the White House. They’ve refused bipartisanship and proposed a bill that would devastate working Nevada families or lead to a government shutdown.
I’m ready to vote for a 4-week stopgap funding bill to stop the Republican shutdown.
Hit 42 miles this morning on my way to our Caucus’ Issues Conference in Leesburg, VA! Great way to beat the traffic—now looking forward to some productive conversations!
The County worked for nearly two decades to get permission from BLM to tackle this project and I’m glad that this road will soon be safer and easier to use for Sandy Valley families. (2/2)
After speaking with Clark County officials, the project to improve Sandy Valley Road between Goodsprings and Sandy Valley is finally going out to bid next month. (1/2)
Republicans wrote this dangerous bill without any Democratic input. They have the majority, so they could have either passed it on their own or come to the table with us. If they want to act in good faith and let us vote on a clean CR, I’ll be willing to work with them.
The reason just about every Republican voted for it is because it gives Trump and Musk free rein to do as they please, while working Americans will continue to pay. I am a no.
The Republicans’ CR is anything but clean. I support cutting waste, but this CR defunds police, cripples our national defense, cuts veterans’ health care, and slashes programs Nevadans rely on.
Let me be clear: Elon Musk and President Trump are already shutting down the government, and Congressional Republicans are sitting back and letting it happen. Meanwhile, the cost of gas, groceries, and housing continues to rise. 🧵

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
