Today is the first day I will be speaking on the House floor until funding for malnourished kids is restored.
And every day after, I’ll be urging my colleagues & the administration:
➡️ Don’t leave these kids behind.
➡️ Honor the promises you made.
➡️ Restore funding for RUTF.
Secretary Rubio and others in the administration promised that food for malnourished kids would be restored in another agency.
It hasn’t happened yet.
One hour of missed production means 415 starving children not getting the food they need.

🚨NEW: I will speak on the House floor every day we are in session until funding for @edesianutrition.bsky.social to save the lives of malnourished children is restored by the Trump administration.

Every Rhode Islander deserves to afford a safe place to live, to be able to fill their grocery cart, and build a future, without working three jobs to do it.

In Rhode Island, working people are the backbone of our economy: nurses, teachers, skilled trades, and small business owners.
I’m in Congress to fight for them for:
✅ Lower costs
✅ Better wages
✅ A strong Middle Class and & a fair shot for those trying to join it
Since Trump took office, the stock market's tanked, trade wars are raging, and Social Security and Medicaid are under attack—all to fund billionaire tax cuts.
