Chaos. Crashes. Confusion.
That’s what the Trump-Musk cuts to Social Security phone service caused.
Retirees and people with disabilities should never be forced to navigate a glitchy website or wait in line to access benefits they paid into and earned.

16 years since the last federal minimum wage is too many. In a time of rapidly increasing prices, we must pass the long-overdue Raise the Wage Act of 2025 to ensure wages match the needs of working families now and in the future. America's workers deserve a fair day's pay for a hard day's work.
President Trump & Elon Musk have never had to worry about putting food on the table or affording their medical bills, so it’s no wonder they don’t care about taking programs away from you. Read how the Republicans' new budget plan will hurt seniors in my recent @njspotlightnews.bsky.social op-ed.
Today, they started the process of starving our seniors, veterans, and hard-working families of their earned benefits to give tax cuts to the rich. What a slap in the face to the American people.
Today, Republicans chose the 1 percent over the 99 percent, the ultra-rich over the middle class, and luxury for the few over life for the many.
With this budget plan, Trump and Congressional Republicans are making one thing clear: they don’t care about seniors, veterans, or hardworking American families.
The draconian cuts to Medicaid, a program that millions of seniors and people with disabilities depend on for healthcare and long-term care, are just plain wrong.
It's disgusting that Republicans would disrespect our veterans, who have sacrificed so much to defend this nation, by cutting the programs they deserve and were promised.
Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security are all lifelines for millions of Americans across the country, including hundreds of thousands of families, veterans, and seniors in South Jersey.
I would vote 'no' a thousand times to stop Trump and Republicans from cutting earned benefit programs, including Medicare and Social Security, that our seniors rely on.

This bill ensures that public-sector workers across the country have the same rights to a voice on their job and a seat at the table. Thank you to @hirono.senate.gov and @deluzio.house.gov for partnering with me in this fight. norcross.house.gov/2025/4/norcr...
I know the power of collective bargaining because I’ve lived it. I spent decades at the negotiating table standing up for working families—fighting for fair pay, safer jobs, and better benefits like health care and retirement.
Medicaid provides health care to 70 million people, including over 150k in our community. It covers essential services like hospital visits, lab work, and childbirth. Trump's attack on Medicaid is life-threatening for millions, all so he can give tax cuts to billionaires.

While Republicans push tax breaks for their billionaire donors, we're fighting to support unions and make life easier for working families.
That's why @norcross.house.gov and I just introduced the Tax Fairness for Workers Act and the No Tax Breaks for Union Busting Act.
Workers deserve a fair shot.
Proud to lead the No Tax Breaks for Union Busting Act and Tax Fairness for Workers Act with @congressmanboyle.bsky.social and @chu.house.gov.
We’re ending tax breaks for union-busting and putting money back in workers’ pockets. norcross.house.gov/press-releas...
