Update from the State Department to Americans in the Middle East: depart from the following countries now.
You can receive security alerts for each specific country on that Embassy’s website, on Travel.State.gov, or across social media @TravelGov.
I wish everyone joy as they celebrate Purim with their loved ones!
Chag Purim Sameach!
Americans don't want war.
They want affordable healthcare, groceries, and energy.
The Trump administration cut billions of dollars from programs that lower costs for Americans.
Now they want taxpayers to fund another war in the Middle East with no exit strategy in sight.
I visited Cheyney University — the oldest HBCU in the nation — to meet with leadership, faculty, and students about the challenges facing higher-ed institutions and to hear how Cheyney is working to enhance the student experience through internships and other workforce development efforts on campus.
Donald Trump has done nothing to prove that his military actions in Iran — unauthorized by Congress — make Americans safer or the region more stable.
The people of Iran deserve peace and democracy, but the United States must support these goals without plunging our nation into another endless war.
DC Republicans' Big Ugly Bill didn't JUST cut healthcare for millions of Americans.
It also hurts your Social Security and Medicare.

I was honored to address Faithful Resistance: A Public Witness for Immigrant Justice, an interfaith & ecumenical gathering of >1,200 leaders who united for a day of worship & peaceful advocacy at the Capitol to call upon this admin for humane treatment of immigrants, refugees, & asylum seekers.
Instead of listening to the President's lies, I'm here at the People’s State of the Union to talk about how this administration's effort to put the rich and powerful above the needs of Americans is impacting you.
So instead, I'll be joining colleagues and Americans at the People's State of the Union to examine how this administration's attacks on access to healthcare and civil liberties are impacting all Americans.
I’ve always attended the State of the Union out of respect for the Office of the President, but this President has not returned that respect to Congress or the American people.
Most people held in ICE detention centers have no criminal record.
Detainees are deprived of life and liberty and placed in unsafe and inhumane conditions.
DHS's plan to use warehouses to hold humans is unconscionable.
These facilities have no place in PA or anywhere else.
The Trump administration has weaponized the entire government to silence or intimidate Americans who speak out against it.
At 3 pm, you can watch along as @HouseJudiciary Democrats examine how the White House's attacks on the First Amendment impact all of our rights:

This decision is a win for the American people.
The President placed an illegal tax on Americans for months, raising prices across our country.
If the President stands by his disastrous tariff policy, it's because he doesn't care about lowering costs for American families.
President Trump says he will impose a 10% global tariff on top of those remaining in place after the Supreme Court ruling striking down emergency tariffs. https://cnn.it/4rss3IS
The Senate must pass the 3-year extension of the ACA tax credits NOW!
The collapse of the Crozer health care system and the DC Republicans' refusal to extend the ACA tax credits mean that local health clinics like ChesPenn face a rise in uninsured patients & growing challenges to maintaining comprehensive services, particularly for patients requiring maternity care.
The engaged audience of seniors & high school students raised great issues about the cost of living, the need for Congress to act as a check on the White House, the DHS shutdown, & strategies for civic engagement.
Thank you to everyone who joined me at the Maris Grove Senior Community for a town hall.
