“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety” - Ben Franklin. The government shouldn't be spying on Americans, especially not without a warrant. Reform FISA.
I am grateful for law enforcement’s swift response during the active shooting threat at the White House Correspondents Dinner tonight. While we wait for the details of what happened tonight, I am praying that everyone attending remains safe. Political violence has no place in our country.
If you’ve committed a crime, you shouldn’t just get to walk because you’re friends with the President. I introduced the No Free Passes for Cronies Act to end the corruption. No more backroom deals. No more special favors. No more free passes.
Americans deserve an FBI director who doesn't compromise our national security. I'm joining @democrats-judiciary.house.gov to investigate concerning allegations about alcohol abuse by FBI Director Kash Patel, which may be interfering with his ability to do his job - protecting the American people.
Kash Patel's alleged habitual alcohol abuse poses a huge risk to national security. For the sake of our country's safety, Judiciary Dems are demanding the FBI Director cooperate with their investigation or be required to testify before the Committee.
I introduced legislation with @davids.house.gov to eliminate federal rules that reduce Social Security payments for low-income seniors & those with disabilities who receive help from their loved ones, because what may be a smaller reduction for the government has a large impact on seniors' budgets.
Pennsylvania's appellate court confirmed that access to abortion is a fundamental right under the Pennsylvania Constitution. This decision is a win for all Pennsylvanians. The government shouldn't be making your healthcare decisions - you should. www.inquirer.com/news/pennsyl...
