Republican politicians are so desperate to distract voters from their disastrous economy and surging gas prices that they've made up conspiracy theories about our Muslim neighbors to scare voters.
Was the White House's timeline for lowering costs for Americans NEVER?
Since the President's economic policy is to create chaos, inflation is even worse for American families.
Gas is $5 a gallon, the cost of beef, tomatoes, and basically everything else is UP.
For the first time in three years, Americans' wages are no longer outpacing inflation, further compounding affordability concerns. https://cnn.it/3R39Zbe
@houserepublicans.bsky.social want to give the DOD $1.5 TRILLION and give ICE and CBP hundreds of billions, but they're pinching pennies on programs that would help our troops, veterans, and their families.
Millions of Americans lost healthcare coverage because Republicans in Congress and the White House refused to extend the ACA credits.

Unlike your wallet, the corruption of this White House appears bottomless: no-bid contracts for ballrooms, fountains, and pools, knocking down the East Wing and paving over the Rose Garden.

I hope you can join me at the town hall I'm hosting with State Reps Borowski and O'Mara on Tuesday, May 26, to give you updates on our work in Washington and Harrisburg.

We met at Eden Cemetery, a historic Black Cemetery that is the final resting place of Octavius V. Catto, a Philadelphia educator and voting rights advocate who died when he was attacked on Election Day in 1871 as he was helping Black citizens to vote.
I was proud to join local leaders and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women for a press conference to emphasize the importance of the fight for voting rights in the wake of SCOTUS’s Louisiana v. Callais decision.
I'll keep fighting for reproductive freedom.
I joined over 250 of my democratic colleagues in filing an amicus brief to protect Americans' access to Mifepristone and the FDA's science-based approval process.

Pedestrians and non-motorists make up 55% of the people killed in traffic crashes in Philly.
I introduced the Pedestrian Protection Act to establish federal safety standards for vehicles that would reduce traffic-related fatalities among pedestrians & bicyclists, and better protect our communities.
I met with the good folks at Teacher Teammates in Folcroft, a nonprofit on a mission to collect and distribute classroom materials to teachers across Delco working in under-resourced schools.
During Teacher Appreciation Week, we recognize how often teachers go above and beyond, even digging into their own pockets to ensure that every student in their classrooms has the school supplies that they need.
It shouldn't be too much to ask the President not to act like an out-of-control middle schooler:
So much fun to read a silly story about a Serious Goose with the Pre-K students at The Children’s Ark at St. George! Expanding access to quality child care is essential to economic growth and opportunity across our community.
We talked about the impact on our community and how Congress should act as a check and balance to correct course for the country.
Thank you to the public servants, engaged citizens, veterans, &child advocates who attended my Office Hours event to discuss their concerns about the President's war in Iran, skyrocketing gas prices, cuts to federal programs, health coverage and research, & attacks on the rule of law by this admin.
Happy Cinco de Mayo, PA-05! Today, we celebrate and reflect on the resilience, contributions, and impact of our Mexican American community!
Once again proving that your budget reflects your values, Senate GOP files a reconciliation bill to give over $70 BILLION to ICE and CBP, and another BILLION to Trump ballroom, but NOTHING for healthcare, housing, child care, or anything else that would lower costs for American families.
Pennsylvania's primary election is coming.
