A friendly reminder: Due to last year’s severe weather, Broward County residents have until May 1 to file your tax returns.
Don’t wait to file, but if you need a little extra time, you got it.

The musicians of South Broward High School put on such a beautiful performance to honor Dr. King.
My REVOCAR Act will deny Maduro the resources to violently crush dissent & instead force a peaceful transition of power.
We cannot stand by while American money fuels the violent repression of Venezuelans – we will not have their blood on our hands. #HastaElFinal
The @housedems.bsky.social’ Inflation Reduction Act already led to a 40% to 80% cost reduction for 10 of the most used drugs in Medicare.
With President Biden’s final push, we’re adding 15 more prescriptions drugs to our list of savings targets for our seniors.
I joined Dania Elementary this morning to share how important our veterans are.
These bright young students will help make “Valentines for Vets” this year and show our South Florida veterans how much they're truly appreciated.
Our Venezuelan neighbors must feel secure they won't be forced back to a murderous dictator.

The Ocala community celebrated Kenneth “Buddy” MacKay's life yesterday and I was honored to do the same on the House floor.
A proud liberal, he embodied the values of decency and honesty. MacKay's public service legacy is model we desperately need. May his memory be a blessing.
Loved joining my friend @repdangoldman.bsky.social to celebrate #NationalBagelDay!
Always glad to join my fellow members of the esteemed Bagel Caucus.

No podemos quedarnos de brazos cruzados mientras el dinero de los EEUU va hacia la violenta represión del pueblo venezolano.
My REVOCAR Act would ban Big Oil investments in #Venezuela and defund Maduro’s atrocities. We must have the backs of Venezuelans fighting for democracy.
My full statement on the Biden Administration removing the Cuban Communist regime’s designation as a State Sponsor of Terrorism:
Read my statement on why I voted against the GOP’s Child Predator Empowerment Act:

It’s sad and alarming that, for the second year in a row, Gov. DeSantis refused to join the federal Summer EBT program, leaving low-income families in our state without vital nutritional support when school is out.
Florida families deserve better.
