Meaningful change begins with connection. Proud to stand alongside leaders and public servants committed to strengthening our communities and making a difference.
As families and communities across South Florida celebrate Eid al-Adha, I extend my warmest wishes to all who are observing.
May this celebration bring peace, joy, and abundant blessings to every home.
On Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation.
We remember their sacrifice, their courage, and the freedoms they helped preserve for all of us.
We hold their families in our hearts and recommit ourselves to honoring their legacy with gratitude and respect.
I am focused on what I hear from South Floridians every day, families working hard, raising their children, and building a better future.
At a time of rising costs and uncertainty, I am back in Washington committed to delivering relief for families and getting the job done for the people I serve.
EMS professionals answer the call when our communities need them most. During EMS Week, we honor the paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and emergency personnel who show up with courage, compassion, and care.
Thank you for your service and commitment to keeping South Florida families safe.
Healthcare access means more than opening doors. Families and seniors should not have to choose between paying bills and affording lifesaving medication.
Lower prescription drug costs should never be up for debate because healthcare should put people before profits.
Today, we celebrate Haitian Flag Day and honor the strength, resilience, and history of the Haitian people. Haiti’s legacy of freedom continues to inspire the world, and South Florida is stronger because of the vibrant Haitian community that enriches our neighborhoods.
Happy Haitian Flag Day!
Today marks the anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education, a landmark decision affirming that every child deserves equal access to education.
We must continue the fight for equity, inclusion, and quality education for every child, regardless of race or zip code.
Seeing the Chibok girls graduate from the American University of Nigeria is a powerful reminder of survivor strength.
For years, we supported survivors with rescue, trauma care, and education as they rebuilt their lives.
Today, they are reclaiming their voices and stepping into their futures.
Whether in Washington or in the district, the work never stops for me. Serving the people of Florida's 24th Congressional District has been the work of my entire adult life.
This is my footprint, and this is what I do, and my constituents know my commitment to them is unwavering.
Happy Founders’ Day to Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated!
I voted YES to extend ACA tax credits because American families deserve access to affordable health care. Period.
The American people do not want another endless war. Congress must receive an immediate briefing and full oversight. The White House must seek congressional approval before any further military action.
I will always stand with Venezuelan families in South Florida who have carried this pain for far too long.
But let me be clear: the Administration did not seek congressional authorization for this military action, and we cannot allow this moment to turn into an endless war.
Venezuela deserves a stable democratic future where human rights are protected and the Venezuelan people can finally live in freedom. Now comes the hard work of responsibly transitioning Venezuela toward legitimate institutions and free and fair elections that Venezuelans can trust.
🧵The detention of Nicolás Maduro is a significant moment for our hemisphere. For years, the Venezuelan people have endured repression and hardship under his brutal rule.
I want to wish our entire community a Happy New Year!
May this year bring you love, joy, and good health. I am wishing you all the best in 2026. 🎆
2025 was a busy year for me, but I am more committed than ever before to continue fighting for you in 2026!
As we honor the principles of Kwanzaa, let us reflect on the strength of family, community, and shared values that guide us forward.
Happy Kwanzaa!
I want to wish our entire community a very Merry Christmas! 🎄
Wishing you joy, peace, and lots of warm moments with the people you love.
