For more than 70 years, families have lived with the consequences of a war that never officially ended. I'm proud to cosponsor the bipartisan Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act to help advance diplomacy, reduce tensions, and move us closer to a permanent peace.
Yesterday, I joined @repbradsherman.bsky.social, @congressmin.bsky.social, and KAPAC to call for lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.

#EqualityDay celebrates the anniversaries of landmark LGBTQI+ victories at SCOTUS in Lawrence, Windsor, & Obergefell! While these milestone are worth celebrating, we still have work to do to ensure our community's rights never rely on a court's ruling ever again.

These raids have resulted in violent arrests, the detention of U.S. citizens, medical emergencies, dangerous vehicle pursuits, and even a fatality. We need answers about the full scope of these incidents and what steps are being taken to protect workers, customers, and surrounding communities.
This week, I led 25 of my Democratic colleagues in sending a letter to HomeDepot and Lowe’s requesting information regarding the growing number of ICE operations occurring at or near their stores nationwide.
We must raise our voices for those who cannot speak freely for themselves. I will not stop speaking out until every person is released and all Armenians can live in peace, security and dignity.
At least 19 Armenians remain under Azerbaijan’s custody, where they are subjected to abuse, torture, and are being denied their most basic rights.
I joined @repbradsherman.bsky.social, @friedman.house.gov, @repjimcosta.bsky.social, and ANCA to demand justice 1,000 days since Armenian prisoners of war and civilian hostages were unlawfully detained by Azerbaijan.
This week, @schiff.senate.gov, and I led our Democratic colleagues in reintroducing the American Rescuers of the Holocaust Congressional Gold Medal Act, to honor the legacy of the heroes who risked their own lives to save thousands of Jews and other refugees facing near-certain death.
Rather than punishing TPS holders for no reason, Congress must establish a pathway to citizenship to protect those who have given our country so much. That's why I proudly co-lead the bipartisan American Dream and Promise Act to do just that.
Another disastrous decision by the far-right Supreme Court. Ending TPS for hundreds of thousands of Syrian and Haitian immigrants won't make America safer. It will destabilize families, hurt employers, and force people back to countries plagued by violence and humanitarian crises.
Supreme Court allows Trump to end temporary protections for Haitians, Syrians
But, the fight is not over, and I’ll continue to demand that President Trump finally fulfill @cagovernornewsom.bsky.social’s disaster supplemental funding request to provide the full assistance necessary for survivors to rebuild and return home.
Under this extension, eligible homeowners can receive assistance through July 9, 2027, and eligible renters can receive assistance through October 9, 2026.
Today, FEMA approved our request to extend the Individuals and Households Program (IHP) to provide direct housing & financial assistance for survivors of the LA Fires, including the Eaton Fire that devastated my district.
