I'm sounding the alarm on this Administration's attacks on Social Security. Western Pennsylvanians worked hard to earn these benefits over a lifetime of hard work. I'll keep fighting to protect them.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 1 in 5 American adults have some kind of mental health challenge. It's okay to need help and people should be able to get the support they need. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 by text, call, or chat: www.988lifeline.org.
My fellow veterans in Congress will keep cranking up the heat on VA Secretary Collins until he stops hurting veterans’ care and hiding it from the American people.

This Admin's chaotic trade approach is already hurting small businesses. The # of small business jobs dropped 3% – 366,400 jobs – since Trump took office. These entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of our communities and need a government that supports them & helps them grow, not leaves them out to dry.

Where I’m from in Western PA, patriotic families proudly show pictures of loved ones in uniform. So as this Administration tries to privatize the VA and sell it off to the highest bidder—which we know will hurt veterans' earned care—you better believe I'm gonna fight back.
Public servants make us safer, healthier, and more free. This Public Service Recognition Week, let's thank them for all they do for us and the Common Good.
Trump hurt life-saving VA clinical trials & research. VA Pittsburgh clinical trials for cancer treatment & more have been affected. My fellow veterans' lives are not some pawn in this Admin's bullshit game. This is a betrayal of veterans, period. More to come. www.propublica.org/article/trum...
I refuse to sit back while Republicans try to gut & privatize the VA. It’ll enrich big healthcare corporations while providing worse care to America's veterans. The VA is not for sale. Tune in live at 3:15 to watch me & my fellow veterans take a stand with @commondefense.bsky.social + colleagues.
It's hard enough running a small business with corporate monopolies putting the squeeze on folks. The last thing entrepreneurs need is chaotic Trump tariffs making it impossible to plan. They’re crushing small businesses that are lifeblood of so many communities.
This decision will bring good old fashioned American competition to the app sector, lowering prices and creating new products.
We need more of this across the whole economy. #MonopolyBusters (2/2)
This ruling is a big win against anti-competitive corporate power in tech. Apple's App Store scheme has been crushing competition and ripping off consumers.
And to top it all off—they lied about it under oath. (1/2)
I'll always stand up and fight for my fellow veterans. Here's a VA worker who shared their story with me—they're seeing firsthand how this Administration is breaking our country's sacred promise to veterans. It’s outrageous.
This is how the Trump Administration chooses to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month: slashing $1 billion for our kids' mental health. Congress authorized this money to help stop school shootings and support our kids. These cuts are foolish and dangerous. www.usatoday.com/story/news/e...
Under Trump, our economy is doing worse.
We've got to grow the size of the economic pie for everyone & help make sure hardworking people get a bigger slice. That means NOT starting a reckless trade war & NOT doubling down on the myth of trickle down econ by funneling tax giveaways to billionaires.
Now fire Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. www.foxnews.com/politics/mik...
I'm proud to join Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick in introducing the Public Service Worker Protection Act. It would expand federal workplace safety protections to all public sector workers. More ⤵️ (2/2)

Every American should expect to work in safe conditions and come home to their families at the end of the day. Still, too many state and local government workers aren't covered by safety protections on the job. (1/2)
I had to turn up the pressure on the Republican-proposed car tax increase in committee this morning.
