Summer reading is a key part of childhood. Rising costs shouldn’t keep kids from having books. Great to see our neighbors give the kids of Western PA a helping hand. 📚

For decades, both political parties down in Washington have deindustrialized America, hollowing out mill towns in PA and beyond, wrecking our manufacturing base, and weakening supply chains. It's time for fair trade where workers and America’s industrial power are not afterthoughts.

This week I introduced the Let Kids Play Act with
@deluzio.house.gov to get private equity out of youth sports.
It's simple - kids sports should be about kids and what's best for them, not jacking up costs to make money for investors.
Another week, another chance for Congress to end this war. The House is voting today on another War Powers Resolution—I'm still a YES. Bring our troops home.
The cost of playing youth sports has risen 46% in just 5 years. Kids and families shouldn't be collateral damage in this private equity takeover. @chrismurphyct.bsky.social and I have a bill to fix this 👇

Smells swampy...
Repairs to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool will now cost $13.1 million.
Trump had promised $1.8 million.
The Interior Department added $6.2 million to the no-bid contract for repairs late last week.

Know that you’re not alone and that it's okay to ask for help. I’ll keep fighting down in Washington to reduce the stigma and strengthen mental healthcare. (2/2)
It’s Mental Health Awareness Week. More than 1 in 5 people in the U.S. struggle with some kind of mental health challenge—kids and adults alike. (1/2)
Parents like me know that screens are impacting kids. Just like we do for food, let’s study screentime and make research-based recommendations in America. More on my bipartisan bill here 👇
Americans work too damn hard for the President to squander it all on another failed run at regime change war in the Middle East.
Western PA—today's the last day to request a mail-in ballot for next week's primary! 🗳️
