Anyone who has been in the military will tell you that our civilian workforce is essential to our success. Eliminating these jobs doesn't make us safer or more lethal. Nor does it eliminate waste, fraud or abuse.
The Senate votes this week on whether to claw back funds for public media, endangering thousands of rural Americans who receive emergency alerts via public broadcasting.
Tell @davemccormick.bsky.social and @fetterman.senate.gov to vote NO on the rescission bill to save public media and save lives.

We got new data from the CDC and it's not good. The measles virus is back, cases in the U.S. are at a record high and we face deadly outbreaks. Through safe and effective vaccines, we eliminated measles 25 years ago.
