Americans are rightfully upset about Trump and Musk's illegal cuts to federal funding for vital community programs and the mass layoffs of federal employees. I'm meeting with constituents to take their concerns to D.C. and continue fighting to stop this assault on our democracy.

Everyone deserves equal pay for equal work. Period.
On Equal Pay Day, and every day, I stand with
@demwomencaucus.bsky.social in fighting to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act and ensure women are paid fairly for the work they do. #EqualPay
Republicans want to cut Medicaid to give their billionaire donors another tax break. I hosted a roundtable with community experts and stakeholders to discuss Medicaid's importance to Georgians. I will continue fighting to save Medicaid for the 142k recipients in #GA04 and protect Americans’ care.
Thank you, Gateway85 Gwinnett CID, for hosting the Congressional Welcome Luncheon to inform Gwinnett County stakeholders about the work I am doing in D.C. for #GA04.

@hankjohnson.house.gov tells @deanobeidallah.bsky.social about his worry of the Trump administration going after those who oppose him.

Trump and Musk taking a chain saw to the Department of Education today will have real, devastating effects on young people in my district and all across America. Of the 138 schools in GA-04, 123 of them are Title I. This is a despicable and targeted attack on our youth.
Live now! Come watch.

He's live now!
I'm hosting my third townhall of the year, tonight at 7 PM. I invite you all to watch live on here or by clicking the link in my bio.
I was glad to see many of the DeKalb County Commissioners in DC recently. Thank you all for stopping by.
We just finished a session of great unity among House Democrats, and we hate the fact that some Senate Democrats are going to cave and vote for this draconian spending bill. The American people hate it, too.
I urge Senate Dems to reject the Anti-Veteran, Medicare, Medicaid, & Social Security spending bill, & support a 4-week extension to give Congress a chance to pass a bi-partisan bill to fund what is left of our government after Co-President Musk’s chain saw cuts.
To all who are celebrating tonight and tomorrow in GA-04 and beyond, Chag Purim Sameach!
Rep. Hank Johnson’s Statement on Passing of Rep. Raúl Grijalva
I commend Senate Democrats for insisting that we reach a bipartisan agreement to fund what’s left of our government after Co-President Musk’s chainsaw cuts. I support a 4-week extension to give Congress more time to reach a deal. I’ll remain in DC as long as it takes to pass it.
Rep. Hank Johnson’s Statement on C.R. Vote.
Today, we honor anti-slavery activist Harriet Tubman for her courageous efforts in rescuing slaves during the darkest period in U.S. history. Our country has made significant progress since her death in 1913 & we must continue to stand against racial injustices that persist in different forms today.
I joined @ruwaromman.bsky.social’s huddle meeting to stress the importance of staying informed. If we are not privy to the things Republicans and this tyrannical administration plan to do, then we miss out on the opportunity to fight back and tell them no.
Don't forget to set those clocks forward one hour tonight. And no, you can't set them forward 4 years. I already asked.
