Americans are seeing higher energy bills because of AI data centers.
Ohio already said data centers need to pay more to offset their costs. We need that and more to make sure working families aren’t paying to subsidize billion-dollar companies.

As a society, we're going to try to tackle this together: social media, the guns, the mental health, and our rhetoric.
Putting that image in front of people is not helping. In fact, it is hurting this country.
That includes my 15-year-old daughter who saw it. She didn't want to see it, but the algorithm put it in front of her.
As a parent, should I rethink whether or not my kid should be looking at social media in general? Yes. But if you're a social media company, you need to rethink your algorithms.
And then there's social media. It is an accelerant for this violent rhetoric.
The fact that the video of someone being murdered, was forced by the algorithm into all of our phones is a problem.
When somebody offers thoughts and prayers, that's okay. That's fine.
When folks say we've got to tackle mental health, yes, we do.
When people say we can protect the rights of gun owners while getting weapons out of the hands of dangerous people, that’s absolutely true.
We have the capacity to fix this.
Fixing this does mean that we take an "all of the above" approach…
