I’m heartbroken for the families of the three people killed at the Islamic Center of San Diego and the Muslim community. Hate has no place in our country.

Thank you to local groups like, Jewish Silicon Valley for leading local activations across our community. Find an event near you: www.jvalley.org/celebrating-...
During Jewish American Heritage Month, we honor generations of Jewish Americans who strengthened our nation through public service, scientific discovery, military service, culture, business, and so much more.
Bay Area families increasingly rely on safe trails, bike lanes, and pedestrian routes to reach work, school, parks, and transit. I’m leading an effort–joined by my Bay Area colleagues—for stronger federal investments in active transportation infrastructure that connects our communities.

Great to visit Half Moon Bay High School and meet with 250 students. We talked about bipartisanship, housing, AI, and most importantly, how our youngest generation of adults can have a bigger impact in our decisions.
Trails should be accessible to everyone. Thank you for securing federal funding for accessibility improvements to the Coyote Valley Heart’s Delight Trail.
We’re grateful for your service and partnership with the community.
During Police Week, we honor the officers who keep our communities safe. Special thanks to Santa Clara County Sheriff Bob Jonsen’s team and the network of local police departments who prepared our community for a successful and safe Super Bowl, and who now ramp up for an epic World Cup.
Their work feeds our families, strengthens our economy, and preserves the Coastside’s character. We have much to do to reduce regulatory barriers and other obstacles—such as tariffs, immigration enforcement, and gas prices—to help our farmers thrive.
Along our Coastside, I heard directly from local farmers like John and Luca Giusti, Bob Marsh and BJ Burns about rising costs, labor shortages, water access, and other great challenges of keeping family farms afloat.
Thanks to Kayla and Major Joseph for sharing why the commissary matters for military families in the Bay Area.
To every mom who leads with love, patience, and strength: Happy Mother’s Day.
Thank you, Mom – we love you!
Our Coastal Resilience Partnership focuses on delivering federal investment to protect our coastal communities and their future.
On Wednesday, I visited Pacifica’s Esplanade Avenue and Beach Boulevard, and met with Mayor Christine Boles, Councilmember Sue Beckmeyer, and local leaders about the severe coastal erosion threatening homes, roads, and infrastructure.
My team has communicated with the State Department, and we seek clarity from the Israeli government. Every detained participant in this humanitarian venture must receive fair treatment, due process, and access to appropriate consular support.
Humanitarian activists—including from our own community—joined a flotilla to provide aid to Gaza residents.
I demand answers to reports that Israeli officials assaulted and mistreated unarmed activists detained by Israeli ships in international waters.
