For patients and families facing devastating blood cancers and rare blood disorders, bone marrow and cord blood transplants can offer the best treatment – and sometimes the only potential for a cure. [1/2]

Today we remember those we lost on Sept. 11, 2001. We thank all who served and sacrificed to protect us. May we continue to lift one another up and build a safer, kinder future. America is strongest when we stand together.
Yet, unlawful detentions and rounding up lawful DACA recipients for deportation threatens to erase that promise. We will not stay silent as this administration dismantles DACA. #ProtectDACA [2/2]
DACA recipients make this country stronger. They are doctors, teachers, farmworker, neighbors, and parents. They embody the American promise, that in this country all dreams are possible regardless of where you are from. [1/2]
Those credits worked, especially here in Sacramento, but the Republicans' “Big Ugly Bill” repealed them. That’s a mistake our families will feel every month. [2/2]
Republicans promised to lower energy costs, but electricity rates are up 10% since President Trump took office. The Inflation Reduction Act expanded home energy tax credits that cut costs for new efficient appliances, saving energy and helping lower families' utility bills. [1/2]
Trump must stop acting like our government is at war with people just trying to earn a living and make a better life for themselves. Our communities deserve better. [2/2]
The Supreme Court just gave cover to ICE’s tactics in LA. Stopping people based on how they look, speak or where they work isn’t law enforcement - it’s racial profiling. [1/2]
We must restore public media funding, invest in Next Generation 9-1-1 nationwide, and fight back against President Trump’s public safety cuts. [4/4]
Yet instead of investing in the public communications systems that literally save lives Republicans are bending the knee as President Trump takes a wrecking ball to our public safety infrastructure. [3/4]
These are not just one-off events. As climate change worsens, extreme weather events are becoming more common and deadly. [2/4]
Public safety communications are vital to ensure we have around-the-clock warnings to avoid tragedies, such as the lives lost and the tens of thousands displaced during this year’s California wildfire season. [1/4]
This event also showcases the endless effort our farmers & chefs put forth to serve our region.
As the Farm-to-Fork capital of the world, we stand at the forefront of culinary innovation & lifting up our diverse communities through agriculture & cultural expression. This dinner exemplifies that.
I had an amazing time at the Tower Bridge dinner! Every year this one-of-a-kind event brings our community together to celebrate the amazing work our local chefs do. Sacramento’s commitment to locally sourced fresh food is unparalleled. [1/2]

Joint Statement from CAPAC, Georgia Members on Georgia Immigration Raid:
He was truly one of a kind – strategically brilliant, fearless, and relentless in delivering results for the marginalized and voiceless. California is a better place because of his integrity and courage. My prayers are with John’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. [2/2]
We have lost a titan of California politics with the passing of my friend John Burton.
From the State Capitol to Congress, John was unapologetically authentic with unwavering conviction. He cared deeply about people, & that came through in every fight he took on & every cause he championed. [1/2]
ICE’s blatant disregard for the rule of law and human decency will never be welcome in Sacramento.
As a united front we will always make sure they know that, and we will always hold them accountable. [2/2]
I would like to thank Reverend Matthew Woodward, our faith community, Sacramento ACT, @norcalresist.bsky.social, Sacramento FUEL Network, the California Immigration Project, and the many volunteers for standing up for our neighbors. [1/2]
I say this directly to the Trump Administration: ICE can pretend everything is above board, but they cannot hide from the truth.
The Sacramento community will not be intimidated. We are organized. And we are watching. We will continue to stand up in defense of our fellow community members. [3/3]

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
