As a member of @energycommerce.bsky.social E&C Dems, I am committed to restoring access to health insurance for those who need it most, and I am tremendously grateful to SF General employees and health care workers across the country for all you do in your communities.
People’s lives are shaped every day here and it’s devastating to see Trump’s disastrous health care cuts having real-world impacts at home. Republicans stripped away health insurance from millions of Americans, putting downward pressure on ERs that will cost more money and more lives.
This public safety net hospital serves over 100,000 patients and is the birthplace of nearly 1,400 babies each year. It provides primary care, mental health services, research on cutting edge medical advancements, and is one of the very few trauma centers in the region.
This week I toured San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, where I spoke with doctors, nurses and administrators about the lifesaving work they do for our community every day.
As we head into tax season, I introduced the Hearing Aid Tax Credit Act, which seeks to provide a $1,000 tax credit to income-eligible individuals to help them afford hearing aids. 🧵2/2
Yesterday I voted YES on the War Powers Resolution which would have asserted that Congress, not the President, has the Constitutional authority to declare war. We must keep up the pressure and hold Trump accountable to end US engagement in endless foreign wars, like this reckless war in Iran.
Kristi Noem was the most corrupt, unqualified and cruel official to serve in this role, and I have been calling for her firing for months. apnews.com/live/kristi-... kevinmullin.house.gov/2026/03/05/r...
The People's REAL State of the Union: Voting rights and our democracy are under threat. Families’ health care costs are skyrocketing. Trump's inhumane approach to immigration is killing people. The economy is in turmoil. Americans are scared and fed up. @moveon.org @housedemocrats.bsky.social
Inspired by and incredibly proud of the Bay Area’s own Alysa Liu for earning gold 🥇 at the Winter Olympics! Her grit, determination, and pure joy on the ice was incredible to watch. Congratulations Alysa & Team USA! www.sfchronicle.com/sports/annki...
Happy Lunar New Year! I had a wonderful time in Millbrae over the weekend, and it’s an honor to represent a district enriched by a vibrant and diverse AAPI community. May the Year of the Fire Horse bring good health, happiness, and prosperity! @capac.house.gov
Words matter and it is absolutely unacceptable for a member of Congress to be so bigoted as to compare Muslims, or any religious group, to dogs. I refuse to amplify this person’s name, but these types of ignorant, hateful comments have no place in America.
