📍Celebrating a new NJ TRANSIT fleet in Kearny 🚍 Proud to see a modernized fleet in our community today thanks in part to federal funding we advocated for—making public transit more reliable and accessible for everyone.
This #ArabAmericanHeritageMonth and every month, we're celebrating the diverse contributions made by Arab Americans across our communities and beyond. We are stronger because of all of our Arab communities who call New Jersey home.
What an honor and privilege to celebrate my friend & North Star, @repbonnie.bsky.social. It has been an incredible honor to work alongside such a trailblazer in Congress. Thank you to CAWP for hosting us — New Jersey is undoubtedly better because of Rep. Watson Coleman. 🫶
I know it’s difficult to feel hopeful in these challenging times but visiting Pastor Yeison after his release from Delaney did just that. Grateful that he is home safe with his family & congregation but he should have never been there in the first place. The work continues & we will never relent.
On #YomHaShoah, we honor the memory of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust. We must continue to combat antisemitism wherever we see it and vow to #NeverAgain allow such hatred to take root or become normalized.
Wishing a very happy Vaisakhi to our Sikh community! 🌾 As we celebrate the New Year and the harvest festival, may your day be filled with joy, gratitude, and the spirit of renewal. 🙏✨
📍Institute of Music in Elizabeth 🎶 Stopped by the IMC to see how they are helping our youth achieve their full potential through music and mentorship. Proud to support their mission and can't wait to see their new space take shape. Thanks for the tunes!
I’m especially proud of their partnership with HCCC - together, they are giving students a direct path to high-skilled careers right here at home. I'll always fight to ensure New Jersey is at the forefront of America’s manufacturing renaissance.
📍Coffee with Congress with the Red Cross ❤️ Spoke with the Red Cross on how we can continue to be a partner in Congress to support their mission and keep our communities safe. So grateful for all of our Red Cross volunteers who’ve made an incredible difference throughout our state.
One year ago, our community was shaken by a tragic helicopter crash on the Hudson that claimed six lives. Since then, we've taken an all-hands approach with our local and state partners to find solutions that put the safety of our communities first.
We should be enhancing people's ability to participate in our elections, not making it harder. That's why I joined @repnellie.bsky.social and my NJ colleagues to demand that USPS reject the Admin's attempt to control mail-in voting. We will always stand for free and fair elections.
The dangers of federal overreach regarding elections—both in New Jersey and across the country—are not just theoretical. They are immediate and real. Today our NJ democratic delegation is leading calls to stop this baseless attack and for the USPS to protect our democracy. Read more:
