We’ve all paid into Social Security our entire lives. It’s our damn money. Not Wall Street profiteers like Scott Bessent.
Happy 60th birthday to Medicare and Medicaid. Here's to many more!
I’m jazzed as hell to have @govevers.wisconsin.gov join me on my podcast! We had a great conversation, looking back on his accomplishments as Governor fighting for Wisconsinites.

60 years ago, Democrats and Republicans came together to change the course of American history. Today, only Democrats are keeping the promise.
✅ Protecting Medicare.
✅ Defending Medicaid.
✅ Fighting GOP cuts.
A promise worth protecting.
Cuts to the Department of Education are cuts to our children’s future. Don’t just take my word for it. Hear it straight from Ms. Lor, a 5th grade teacher in my district. As a public school graduate, I know firsthand that the more we invest in public education, the better off we’ll be!
Direct File was free, easy, and available to millions! The brainless decision by the Trump Administration to end it will cost Americans more money just to file their taxes. This administration is interested only in padding the pockets of big business, not helping regular folks!
Yet another senseless act of gun violence in this country took four lives far too soon. When will House Republicans say 'enough is enough'? We need commonsense gun violence prevention legislation now!

Trump continues to lose in court from judges across the political spectrum. It probably has something to do with the fact that his executive orders are blatantly unconstitutional.
Half a million people in Gaza are starving. One in three hasn’t eaten in days. Children are dying.
Netanyahu has the ability to stop this and needs to allow more aid to enter and stop shooting people trying to get food.

To honor @govevers.wisconsin.gov's decades of standing up against special interests and fighting for Wisconsinites, here’s a fun #MagicMonday throwback.
July is National Park and Recreation Month!

Today marks the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Postal Service, older than our nation itself. The USPS is a service, not a business. And it belongs to the people, not corporate profiteers!

When you demand better wages and benefits, but management offers a pizza party instead.
This is basically what it’s like listening to my Republican colleagues try to explain their vote for Medicaid cuts.
Great news! River Food Pantry has secured $12 million for their new facility.
I’m honored to have helped secure $3 million for this critical project that will feed countless families.

Here’s the brutal truth: 51,000 Americans will die every year because of Republicans’ cuts to Medicaid.
Let’s reverse these cuts to Medicaid and save lives!
In 1965, CEOs made 20 times what workers did. In 2024, it was 285.
Productivity went up. Wages didn’t. Wonder who pocketed the difference?

It’s why I’m a co-sponsor of the Raise the Wage Act and will continue to fight for its passage so that the minimum wage is a livable wage.
16 years. That’s how long it’s been since the national minimum wage was increased in the United States. No member of Congress could live on $7.25 an hour, and they know it.
