While Americans are seeing rising costs in every aspect of their lives, Trump is focused on…
💰 A $1 billion golden ballroom

🥊 Hosting a UFC fight on the White House lawn for his birthday (1/2)
It makes me so happy to see the beagles from Ridglan Farms on their way to loving homes!
BREAKING: Inflation skyrocketed to the highest point in three years because of Trump’s war with Iran.
Good news is rare in Washington these days, so watching countless beagles being rescued from Ridglan Farms was a welcome change.
I’ll continue working to ensure that what happened at Ridglan never happens again.
Last minute, I went to thank the volunteers from both groups for their work. I’ll continue to fight for loving homes for all these dogs and all the remaining dogs until facilities like these no longer exist.
I was supposed to volunteer with Dane County Humane Society & @beaglefreedom.bsky.social to rescue the remaining beagles at Ridglan Farms. However, their attorney told me that I wasn’t welcome on their property.
To all the moms in Wisconsin and across the country: thank you for all you do. Happy Mother’s Day!
Had a good conversation with senior officials in Secretary Kennedy’s office about making sure that facilities like Ridglan Farms can never misuse dogs again.
I believe he agrees, but action is required. He can do this.
If a facility has serious violations it should be shut down, period.
When I’m in Wisconsin meeting with constituents, I don’t hear a single person tell me that they want to spend their hard-earned money on a $1 billion golden ballroom. What I do hear is the rising costs of gas, groceries, healthcare & housing. This Administration promised to lower costs. They failed.
Later this month, I will be hosting a town hall in every county across my district!

I’m honored to join Rep. Houchin, @trahan.house.gov, and Rep. Valadao in introducing the bipartisan Campus Lifeline Act, which would give colleges greater access to 988 and the tools to better support students' mental health. (2/2)
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline saves lives. The more awareness we can raise about 988, especially among our young people, the better. (1/2)
From kindergarten through college, I attended public schools. Great teachers changed my life. The least we can do is pay them what they deserve. I will not stop fighting until that becomes reality. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
BREAKING: Gas prices have increased more than 50% as a direct result of Trump’s war with Iran.
Great to join Rev. Dr. Alex Gee at the grand opening of the new Center for Black Excellence.
The Center will be a fixture in our community for generations to come.
I was honored to secure $1 million in federal funds to help make it happen!

The American people are tired of corrupt politicians selling out to the highest bidder. Leaders like @pocan.house.gov and @repmcgovern.bsky.social know that getting our democracy to work means getting money out of politics and ending Citizens United.
But what does that really mean? On this week’s episode of With Liberty and Justice for Some, we answer that question and more with one of our nation’s top political scientists, @normornstein.bsky.social. (2/2)
As we watch Trump’s increasingly erratic behavior, more and more of us are calling on his cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment. (1/2)
Trump's unnecessary war with Iran is making life too damn expensive, especially for the farmers in my district who grow our nation's food. It’s time to finally end the war and bring prices down!

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
