(2/2) Event Recap ➡️ sherman.house.gov/media-center...
I want to thank the over 3,000 residents who joined our #TownHall last night to recap #Trump's first year back in office — staying connected matters as we prepare for what lies ahead.
Special thanks to our guest, @asmpilarschiavo.bsky.social for joining the conversation. (1/2)

Donald Trump is bad for America.
Costs are up across the board more than 1 million people were laid off in 2025.
And Trump's biggest accomplishment in 2025? The Big Ugly Law that pushed millions off their health care.
Reposted byCongressman Brad Sherman
Health care premiums are skyrocketing for millions of American families across the country.
While Republicans stand still and do nothing, House Democrats passed a bipartisan bill to extend the ACA tax credits.
We care and we’re fighting to protect health care.

A number of federal agencies have provided billions of dollars in aid to fire victims, but one agency — the Department of Housing and Urban Development — has done absolutely nothing.

#Trump & #Greenland: Ego or Betrayal?
Was pleased to join the ANCA Western Region for the Dedication and Grand Opening of the Armenian Cultural Foundation Sarkis & Suzan Kitsinian Youth Center.
Today on #MLKDay, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
His work in the struggle for civil rights continues to inspire us in our work for a more free and just country.
#MLKDay2026
It was great to join alongside Councilmember @cd4losangeles.bsky.social and other community leaders at the Congregational Church of the Chimes’ #MLKDay celebration in Sherman Oaks — honoring Dr. King’s call for justice, equality and service to others.
Honored to join Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO alongside members of IAM Union to observe #MLKDay, reflecting on Dr. King’s reminder that civil rights and workers’ rights are inseparable and that progress requires solidarity, persistence, and action.
Joined @cnn.com to discuss #Trump’s dangerous actions toward #Greenland and why I’ve written the Hands Off Greenland Act. Also discussed the #Iran protests and why the U.S. must support the #Iranian people and communicate the truth — our most powerful weapon.

I am not voting for the Homeland Security Bill or any bill that funds #ICE. Period.
I am opposed to any bill that funds Homeland Security unless it means that our communities will not be terrorized by #ICE as they are today.
I’ll be hosting our first Telephone #TownHall of the new year next week on Wednesday, January 21st at 7:00 PM.

It also should be lost on no one that Armenia is being forced to release terror-linked mercenaries in exchange for Armenian civilians held as POWs by Azerbaijan. (2/2)
