This is horrifying! My heart breaks for the victims of the Minneapolis school shooting, especially the children whose lives were taken. As a parent, former teacher and principal, I can’t fathom such cruelty.
Gun violence has no place in schools, and this cannot be normalized!
The Big, Ugly Law slashes healthcare, food aid, and student loan support—it’s heartless. And with rising authoritarianism, our nation is at a crisis.
Join my teletown hall tonight: call 866-295-1797 at 6:30 PM, or watch live on YouTube, Facebook or at Wilson.house.gov/live.
We’re hosting a teletown hall TONIGHT on the ‘Big, Ugly Law’ and the threats to democracy.

What is the point of hurting the feelings and futures of school children?
God help us all.
We cannot continue to become a state that ignores students with hardships who just want to be able to find a sense of independence.
This decision is heartless, it must be reversed, and the federal government must act to protect students with disabilities.
This is an unwarranted and twisted decision.
Certificates of completion are designed to recognize the hard work of students with disabilities, especially when they are unable to earn their high school diploma because of their disability. cfpublic.org/education/20...
It was cruel, careless, and destructive from the start and should have never been built.
I’m glad it’s closing, and we must never repeat the mistakes made at this facility anywhere else!
After so much pressure from me and my colleagues, FINALLY ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ IS CLOSING DOWN.
IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME!
🚨I’m hosting a teletown hall next week on our Democracy, Health, and Future. I’ll be joined by multiple national leaders as we discuss what’s been going on in Congress and this administration.
Mark your calendars for next Wednesday—you won’t want to miss it!
This is an outrage!
This decision shows the utter disregard for bringing communities together and uniting our country.
Hateful division is unacceptable. This decision is not good for Miami and the rich tapestry of people who call it home.
This decision cannot stand.
Over 4 million Floridians rely on health care tax credits to lower premiums. They expire this year.
The ‘Big, Ugly Law’ FAILED to renew them in order to give billionaires tax breaks.
Unless Congress acts, people will lose coverage, and I support extending them.
Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year old Black teenager, was killed senselessly 11 years ago by a police officer in Ferguson, MO.
I’m tired of watching our Black boys die. He should be alive today!
Today and everyday, we must continue our fight for justice.
This pause on Alligator Alcatraz is the right call.
Beyond the serious humanitarian concerns, building a facility in the heart of the Everglades puts our irreplaceable ecosystem at risk.
We shouldn’t be in the business of destroying the Everglades for detention centers.
