The Everglades ICE facility needs to be shut down immediately.
1500 people kept in cages, it reeks of urine and food is weeks old. Most people there have no criminal histories, and I was blocked from speaking with detainees.

Life is too expensive.
Democrats are ready to solve this price crisis, but Republicans must come to the table to kill illegal tariffs and cut costs.
My oversight visit to the Everglades ICE facility told me plenty.
Conditions are still inhumane.
Most detainees aren't criminals.
ICE refuses to take accountability.
Florida taxpayers are on the hook.
We must shut it down.
Florida small businesses create 40% of our jobs. My job in Congress is to give them critical tools to thrive and grow.
So glad to join the Dania Beach Chamber of Commerce to discuss how I can help them succeed and swear in their new board.
ICE staff on-site also refused to speak with me and I wasn't allowed to speak with detainees. We have to pay attention to what's going on behind closed doors.
Like my last visit, this facility is inhumane and the treatment of detainees is cruel. ICE is hiding behind Florida agencies to avoid treating people humanely, and the enormous costs of the facility fall on Florida taxpayers.
I made an unannounced oversight visit to the so-called "Alligator Alcatraz" facility in the Everglades today. 🧵

Life for seniors is too expensive, so we must bolster Medicare, stop tariffs from inflating grocery costs, and cut spiking gas prices.
I joined Dania Beach seniors to share how I’m fighting for all that in Washington.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) received a clinic tour from IVF Florida staff over the weekend! ASRM is grateful to Dr. Barrionuevo and the entire IVF Florida team for opening their doors to legislators seeking to better understand the IVF and family-building process.
Proud to deliver more than $1 million to help Nova Southeastern University learn to better treat brain cancer.
NSU’s amazing researchers work to solve this problem that’s plagued patients and doctors for decades, and I’m glad to support that effort.
While Trump didn't execute his despicable, unhinged threat to wipe out Iran's civilization, all Americans must ask themselves what we got from this costly, destructive, and reckless war so far.
My full statement:
Trump's latest threat to eradicate an entire civilization is appalling and completely unhinged.
Republicans ceaselessly enable and excuse Trump’s dangerous and extremely bizarre behavior. It MUST stop. His Republican enablers must join Democrats to end his dangerous, erratic conduct.
Honored to join the City of Hollywood Mayor and Council in the presentation of a proclamation to commemorate the 21st annual Jewish American Heritage Month this upcoming May!
Sharing Jewish American contributions to our nation is key in the fight against rising antisemitism across the country.
A joy to celebrate the Divine Divas, the amazing women of Red Hat Society of South Florida.
Congrats to the honorees and thanks for urging other women to step into leadership. Be it public service or faith and family, you give back and set an example for the next generation.
We need higher wages and crackdowns on oil price gouging to help families and entrepreneurs survive gas price hikes.
I joined neighbors to share how working Floridians are hurt. It's not pretty: rising shipping and food costs, canceled doctor visits and businesses closed.
It is obscene for Trump to starve Medicare, Medicaid and childcare to fund a massive defense budget and a war with no end in sight. Trump’s plans gut punch struggling workers and seniors.
Trump ignores families crushed by high costs just to pay for billionaire tax breaks and a war with no plan.
Happy Easter to everyone celebrating in FL-25! I hope your day is filled with joy and surrounded by loved ones.
The Trump Administration took its foot off the gas in the fight against cancer.
Millions of Americans are losing health coverage because Republicans let ACA tax credits expire.
Deeply concerned about the crew of the F-15 that was shot down by Iran. Thankful to hear that one is safe.
My thoughts and heart are hopeful for the rescue and safety of the second crew member.
