It's Day 82 of Trump's illegal war of choice. He didn’t have the constitutionally required approval from Congress to go to war with Iran — and he certainly doesn’t have it for a war with Cuba!
President Trump and congressional Republicans’ #ReverseRobinHood $1 TRILLION cut to Medicaid is leaving Philadelphians with less access to care and hurting our community.
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is cutting jobs and shutting down one of its medical units as health systems across the region brace for large-scale reductions in federal Medicaid spending.
You should NOT be forced to subsidize this president’s brazenly corrupt slush fund. That’s why I’m joining @mikethompson.house.gov and my @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social Democratic colleagues in introducing legislation that would claw back any payments from this scheme.
Donald Trump’s corruption knows no bounds. As a part of the settlement with his own DOJ, Trump is trying to funnel YOUR taxpayer dollars to criminals and cronies and apparently leaving the door open to paying “entities associated with…himself.”
Today marks 61 years of Head Start! Last year, I proudly highlighted the impact Head Start has in PA alongside @repdean.bsky.social, parents and child care advocates. In Congress, I'm fighting to protect and expand Head Start - so every kid has a chance to succeed!
Trump JUST reached a settlement with his own DOJ to create a $1,776,000,000 slush fund for January 6 insurrectionists and his political allies. That's enough to send a $1,128 check to every Philadelphian to offset the high prices his war of choice and tariff-taxes have caused!
President Trump drops $10 billion lawsuit against IRS amid talks of establishing a fund to compensate allies targeted in DOJ investigations https://cnn.it/4nzNwOZ
Donald Trump promised he would lower prices on day one and start no new wars. Over a year into his second term, working Americans are paying the prices of his broken promises.
President Trump promised to bring inflation down. But his policies keep pushing prices up. The war on Iran increased gas prices by over 50 percent. Higher energy costs drove up the price of airfares and goods that move by truck, including groceries. https://wapo.st/4tzgtMi
Trump could use $1,700,000,000 to help Americans struggling to afford the higher gas and grocery prices his policies caused. But this grifter president would rather funnel taxpayer dollars to January 6th insurrectionists and his political allies. His corruption has no limits.
