After 100 days of this administration, is there hope?
Yes.
They’ve reversed some of their worst policies because of public pushback.
We just need to keep pushing over the next 100 days & beyond while elevating the voices of those most impacted.
We can, and we will.
The first 100 days of Trump’s administration have made his priorities clear: Donald Trump is not working for Americans.
He’s working for the same billionaires that flanked him during his inauguration on day 1.
And he has no plans of stopping.
In 100 days, Trump has smeared our image on the national stage, undermining allies (fighting with Zelenskyy on live TV, gutting USAID, and more) while emboldening adversaries.
All while failing to present a clear strategy to keep Americans safe.
In 100 days, Trump has gutted the Department of Education, the agency responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars to RI public schools each year.
A completely destructive - and illegal - move made by people who never have to worry about their kids' education.
Our national security is at risk.
Trump put Fox News personality Pete Hegseth in charge of the Pentagon—someone with no experience managing anything close to the DoD.
Two Signal scandals later, we’re worried for troops on the front lines because of his recklessness.
Trump unleashed his billionaire buddy Elon Musk to wreak havoc on our government.
He’s cut cancer research in RI, gutted nonprofits, and targeted programs like Social Security and Medicare—violating our privacy along the way.
The reason?
To pay for tax breaks for the rich.
100 days.
Since Trump was sworn in 100 days ago, surrounded by billionaires, we’ve seen chaos & cruelty unleashed on Rhode Islanders.
This administration will be held accountable.
Here are some of the things we can’t forget about Trump’s first 100 days.

Today is the first day I will be speaking on the House floor until funding for malnourished kids is restored.
And every day after, I’ll be urging my colleagues & the administration:
➡️ Don’t leave these kids behind.
➡️ Honor the promises you made.
➡️ Restore funding for RUTF.
Secretary Rubio and others in the administration promised that food for malnourished kids would be restored in another agency.
It hasn’t happened yet.
One hour of missed production means 415 starving children not getting the food they need.
For decades, USAID funded ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF), a food paste used to end malnutrition.
@edesianutrition.bsky.social in North Kingstown being one of two orgs in the country to make it.
They've saved 25M lives in 65+ countries.
But the administration has halted new orders.
