To kick off Earth Week, I recently sat down with San Mateo County high school students from @cclusa.org for their podcast.
They asked important questions from clean energy to carbon pricing, showing exactly why youth voices are critical in this fight. Watch the full video here: youtu.be/gfGsHndcO9Q

Great to welcome Bay Area representatives from @samtrans.com to my DC office.
Proud to have led efforts to secure $250K for bus stop improvements in FY26 to support SamTrans’ work connecting the district and the broader Bay Area through more reliable and accessible transit.
This is an important example of what we can do if just a few Republicans decide to do the right thing and help stand up against xenophobic fear tactics. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...
Yesterday, I launched the Anti-Corruption and Democracy Reform Task Force with Ranking Member Joe Morelle and co-chairs @repnikema.bsky.social & @ramirez.house.gov to keep defending your vote and holding Trump accountable for abusing the public office for personal gain.

Today I voted - again - for the Iran War Powers Resolution to reassert congressional oversight of our unhinged president.
Although Republicans refused to stop Trump's war today, I'll continue pushing to bring forth another vote on a War Powers Resolution.

It was great to join the grand opening of Xona Space Systems’ new facility in Burlingame and learn more about their innovative work to improve GPS systems here in the district. This opening marks an exciting step forward in advancing next-generation satellite technology at home.
On Yom HaShoah, we honor the millions of Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust. We recommit ourselves to confronting antisemitism with fierce urgency and resolve because Never Again is now and it’s our responsibility.
I was in San Francisco last week for a shadow field hearing alongside @pelosi.house.gov and @morelle.house.gov, convened out of urgency in response to Trump and House Republicans' escalating threats to our democracy.

I fully support any legal/constitutional means to protect our country from Trump’s unhinged behavior & remove him from office, including impeachment or invoking the 25th Amend. Republicans currently control Congress & to truly be a check on Trump we need Dems to take back the House in '26.

Enough is enough. House Republicans must join Democrats in stopping this madness and ending Trump's reckless war with Iran.

Congrats to the incredible team at NASA on the historic Artemis II launch taking humanity farther from Earth than ever before! This mission reflects American innovation, strong partnership with the CSA, and stands as an inspiration to the next generation of explorers.

It was great to visit Delta Star's West Coast facility in San Carlos as part of my Day in the District. I enjoyed seeing firsthand how power transformers are made and how their work has helped power our communities safely and reliably since 1950.
In April, we celebrate #ArabAmericanHeritage Month by honoring the rich cultures, history, and contributions of Arab Americans in California and across the nation.
Yesterday’s earthquake in California is a reminder of why earthquake resilience matters. That’s why I introduced the Earthquake Resilience Act—to require stronger risk assessments and better prepare vulnerable communities.
