The reports of chemical agents being released on striking Teamsters in New Jersey and Illinois are outrageous.
This is a clear intimidation tactic to prevent these workers from getting a fair contract. No worker should ever fear for their health or safety while exercising their right to organize.
National Purple Heart Day is a time to remember the men and women who were wounded in action, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, standing in harm’s way for our country. We honor their sacrifice, their courage, and their commitment to protecting our democracy.
We're going to fight this and stand with AFGE every step of the way.
Our veterans made a promise to serve and defend our country. Now we must uphold our promise to them. By stripping collective bargaining rights from employees at the VA, Trump is not only attacking workers but going after the services our veterans rely on.
The Camden County Addiction Awareness Task Force is showing the rest of the country what works. In DC, I'm working to bring that same life-saving model to communities across the country.
The dramatic drop of overdose deaths each year in Camden County shows that when we invest in harm reduction and medication-assisted treatment, we save lives.
House Republicans rigged the math of their Big Ugly Bill to hide the cost of their billionaire tax giveaway. They lied to Congress, lied to voters, and handed billions to the ultra-wealthy while working families pay the price.
The Voting Rights Act was signed into law on this day in 1965 thanks to the courage of leaders like John Lewis and MLK Jr. Their legacies remind us that democracy is always worth fighting for, and we must continue to rise to meet the challenges of today.
Corporations should not be rewarded with tax breaks when they spend money to silence workers. My bill would end corporate handouts for union-busting campaigns, make our tax code fairer, and give workers the level playing field they deserve. Workers' rights are non-negotiable.
We can’t fight the opioid epidemic if Trump keeps blocking prevention efforts. Congress already allocated the funding to health departments nationwide. Now Trump’s delay is putting that progress in limbo and lives at risk.

As a product of New Jersey public schools, I will always fight to make sure our students have access to the tools and services they need to prepare for their future.
Big Win! The Trump administration has released $7 billion in education funding that they were illegally withholding from America's schools. Last month, I joined my NJ Democratic colleagues in sending a letter to the Trump administration demanding that they release these funds.
Happy Birthday @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social! Grateful for your leadership as @housedemocrats.bsky.social fight back against Trump's attacks on working families.
235 years ago today the United States Coast Guard was founded. We honor the servicemen and women who have committed themselves to keeping our shores safe. Their dedication and courage make our community and nation a better place.
It isn’t always easy sharing your name with other people, so I'm going to start posting more reminders about the many differences between us. Here's a few so you don’t mix us up.
- The Good Donald
Families are being crushed by rising prices. So what are Trump and the GOP doing? Raising your food, health care, and utility costs while adding a ballroom to the White House. You can't make this up.

Republicans’ INHUMANE 2026 funding plan:
✂️ CUTS food assistance
✂️ CUTS clean water infrastructure
✂️ CUTS healthcare access
✂️ CUTS affordable housing
✂️ CUTS public transit
The list goes on and on, all while raising prices for everyday Americans.
Tomorrow morning, I’ll be on @nbcphiladelphia.com to discuss my visit with @repherbconaway.bsky.social to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, where we conducted oversight after the Secretary of Defense authorized the use of the base to detain undocumented immigrants.
Flood after flood is hammering New Jersey and the East Coast.
And Trump? He’s gutting FEMA and canceling flood resilience grants.
FEMA helps families recover from floods, wildfires, and hurricanes.
We should strengthen FEMA, not eliminate it.
