My Republican colleagues want to see the Affordable Care Act subsidies expire, raising healthcare costs for just about everyone.
I believe that every American deserves healthcare they can afford. This is what we are fighting for.

Day one of the government shutdown, and House Republicans are still on vacation. While they're out of town, I'm here in DC fighting to reopen the government and to make sure everyone has affordable healthcare.
Project 2025 author and Trump's Budget director is salivating at the idea of a shutdown. It gives him an excuse to blame Democrats when he fires even more federal workers. He wants to "traumatize federal employees."
The government shuts down in just a few hours, and House Republicans are nowhere to be found. But they're still spreading lies on social media. I'm here to correct the record.
