Attorney General Bondi thinks she can play hide-and-go-seek with the Epstein Files, but the law is clear and mandatory. She must release the Files in their entirety so we can end this massive coverup and elite protection for predators.
Gun violence continues to be a devastating threat to life and bodily safety in America. Please join me in praying for the victims, the family of the deceased, and all the students, faculty and staff shaken by this attack at Old Dominion University. We must ACT in Congress.
Horrified by this violent attack at a Michigan synagogue. As we learn more, please join me in sending our love and affection to the Temple Israel community. Like everyone in our society, Jewish Americans must have safe places in which to practice our faith.
Now-fired DHS Secretary Kristi Noem lavished $220 million in American taxpayer funds on a self-promoting PR campaign run by close friends. Where’s DOGE's night crew cracking down on wasteful and corrupt spending when you actually need it?   The American people demand an investigation and a refund.
Happy International Women’s Day! Today we recognize all the women leaders who contributed to moving our country forward and we renew our commitment to fight for equal rights, equal pay and reproductive rights for all.
This week’s Local Hero is Glen Echo Mayor Dia Costello. Thank you, Mayor Costello, for your profound dedication to our people and our community, and for your superb responsiveness and organizing in the wake of the worst sewage spill in American history, the disaster at the Potomac Interceptor.
Secretary Noem acknowledges ICE and CBP can't shoot Americans for peacefully protesting, videotaping ICE officers or lawfully carrying a firearm, and yet her agents are routinely violating the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. There is a total leadership breakdown requiring immediate change.
It’s time to reveal the billionaire donors flooding American elections with potent dark money. I’m introducing the DISCLOSE Act with Senator Whitehouse and Rep. Pappas to make our money-drenched elections more transparent for all citizens.
Alex Pretti and Renée Good were murdered by federal agents. Soon after, Secretary Noem labeled them 'domestic terrorists.’ I gave her the chance to recant and apologize for the pain she's caused their families with these outrageous lies. She refused.
Raskin: Based on what you know today, were Renee Good and Alex Pretti domestic terrorists? Noem: What happened was an absolute tragedy. Raskin: Were they domestic terrorists? Noem: My condolences to their families Raskin: You lied about them.
I want to know Secretary Noem's plan to stop masked ICE and CBP agents from killing American citizens like Renee Good and Alex Pretti. We can enforce our immigration laws without terrorizing American citizens and immigrant communities.
Once again, a federal court affirms that Members of Congress have the right to conduct unannounced oversight visits of ICE detention facilities. The American people demand oversight, accountability and reform of the administration's inhumane immigration practices.
Today, Secretary Noem takes some questions from House Judiciary Democrats. Here’s one: why are masked federal agents wreaking havoc in our cities—intimidating, attacking and killing both immigrants and American citizens?
Wishing a happy Holi to everyone celebrating in MD-08, Maryland and across the world! May you experience the joy of this colorful festival with family, friends and loved ones.
Justice for victims or coverup for their traffickers? Health care for all or corrupt self-enrichment for the president? The Bill of Rights or a catalogue of escalating wrongs against the people? The battle lines are drawn in Congress.
This week's Local Hero is accomplished artist Steven Weitzman of Takoma Park. Steven is known for dazzling sculptures of social & political figures like Frederick Douglass & most recently, Barbara Rose Johns, whose sculpture in the Capitol replaced the bust of Robert E. Lee.
