Today marks the anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education, a landmark decision affirming that every child deserves equal access to education.
We must continue the fight for equity, inclusion, and quality education for every child, regardless of race or zip code.
Seeing the Chibok girls graduate from the American University of Nigeria is a powerful reminder of survivor strength.
For years, we supported survivors with rescue, trauma care, and education as they rebuilt their lives.
Today, they are reclaiming their voices and stepping into their futures.
Whether in Washington or in the district, the work never stops for me. Serving the people of Florida's 24th Congressional District has been the work of my entire adult life.
This is my footprint, and this is what I do, and my constituents know my commitment to them is unwavering.
Happy Founders’ Day to Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated!

I want to wish our entire community a Happy New Year!
May this year bring you love, joy, and good health. I am wishing you all the best in 2026. 🎆
2025 was a busy year for me, but I am more committed than ever before to continue fighting for you in 2026!
As we honor the principles of Kwanzaa, let us reflect on the strength of family, community, and shared values that guide us forward.

The threats by the White House to withhold funding from the Smithsonian are just about whitewashing our history.
All Americans must unite to protect our history and protect the Smithsonian’s independence to ensure unbiased content across its institutions.
The Speaker must allow members to vote on an extension of the affordable healthcare tax credits TODAY!
NO EXCUSES!
Premiums are skyrockets and families cannot wait for a vote on this.
Water affects every community.
We need to push bipartisan legislation that protects families from flooding, strengthens our water supply, restores critical ecosystems, and helps communities prepare for drought and extreme weather.
This is how Congress delivers real results.
Congress must stay in session until we work to save healthcare.
A majority of the House now supports extending the Affordable Care Act tax credits.
The Speaker must bring this bill up for a vote right away, not wait until January.
