The harm of Trump and Republicans’ One Big Ugly Law is more than just people losing their health care—it’s hurting our country’s kids and forcing them to take on caregiver roles. This is unacceptable in the wealthiest nation on earth. time.com/article/2026...
Haitian Temporary Protected Status holders are our neighbors who contribute to our communities and economy. I was proud to help pass House Democrats’ bill to extend TPS for 350,000 Haitian nationals living in the United States and give them the protections they deserve.
I voted for Democrats’ War Powers Resolution to end Trump’s reckless and costly war with Iran. But House Republicans blocked it AGAIN. House Republicans’ loyalties lie with Trump, not the American people who are paying the price for this overseas conflict.
Trump’s war with Iran has done nothing but cost taxpayers billions of dollars and drive up gas prices. House Democrats will keep fighting to hold Trump accountable, bring down costs and put an end to this senseless and costly conflict with Iran.
This Tax Day, families are getting 65% LESS in refunds than the additional $1,000 that Trump and Republicans promised. Instead of relief for working people, Trump’s Big Ugly Law gave massive tax breaks to billionaires and left the American people to foot the bill.
Instead of lowering costs on day one like Donald Trump promised, Republican policies are driving up the prices of: ⛽💵Gas 🏥💰Health Care 🛒💲Groceries ⚡💧Utilities
On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the lives and memories of the millions of Jewish people killed during the Holocaust. We recommit ourselves to the fight against antisemitism and hatred in all forms.
Donald Trump’s costly war with Iran is doing nothing but making life more expensive for working Americans here at home. Costs are skyrocketing, yet Republicans refuse to act. American families are paying the price for Trump’s war of choice. www.cnn.com/2026/04/10/b...
Whether it’s gas, groceries, electricity, doctor’s visits, or housing, Americans are paying MORE for LESS thanks to Trump’s and Republicans’ failing economic agenda. House Democrats will keep fighting back against the Republican affordability crisis.
I joined fellow @housedemocrats.bsky.social in LA for a hearing on Republican attempts to undermine our nation’s elections and suppress the vote. Democrats will keep raising alarm bells about GOP efforts to rig elections in their favor and fighting to safeguard Americans’ right to vote.
House Republicans just blocked House Democrats’ War Powers Resolution to end Trump’s costly war with Iran. Costs are soaring and U.S. servicemembers are dying, yet Republicans refuse to act. It’s clear where House Republicans’ priorities lie, and it’s not with the American people.
It’s been more than a year since Trump’s illegal tariffs sent prices soaring and markets spiraling—and American consumers are paying the price. The President needs to roll back his tariffs and focus on policies that actually bring down costs. fortune.com/2026/04/06/t...
Donald Trump and Republicans’ reckless policies are hurting Americans and making life harder. Trump’s tariffs raised costs across the board. Republicans’ Big Ugly Law cut health care and food assistance for millions. Trump’s war in Iran is forcing gas prices to skyrocket.
Donald Trump is batshit crazy and out of control. Republicans need to stand up and join Democrats and hold the President accountable for his sick and reckless war in Iran.
Rising costs from tariffs and the war with Iran are hurting local businesses like Anita’s Mexican Foods. I visited Anita’s, where I heard how reckless economic policies have made everything from diesel for delivery trucks, tortilla chip packaging, to their ovens more expensive.
California drivers are paying the price for Trump’s war in Iran every time they fill up their tanks. Working Americans can't afford this costly conflict. Trump needs to end his war in the Middle East and focus on bringing down costs for people here at home.
As the Inland Empire grows, it’s crucial that our public transportation system can get people where they need to go quickly, efficiently and cleanly. I’m proud to deliver $1 million for Omnitrans to expand its zero-emission bus infrastructure and improve our air quality.
