This dirty funding bill also is Trump corruption at its worst:
- a late night, 11th hour deal
- the personal enrichment of 8 Senators at $500k each
- complicity from Congressional Republicans
And all on the backs of a “deal”that continues the theft of health care from Americans. Shame.

Stood shoulder-to-shoulder with my House Democratic colleagues against the Republican health care crisis.
We cannot back down.
No matter where you get your care, if Trump & Republicans get their way, every American will pay more for worse health care.
The fight continues.
I think this is what Donald Trump would call a “beautiful email.”
Disgusting abuse of power.
Release the files.
Toured CF Children’s Foundation’s pediatric, lab & affordable housing services. More than 80% of their patients are on Medicaid.
Trump & House Republicans’ Big, Ugly Law cut roughly $1 trillion from health care.
I’m working in Congress to stop the cuts and care for our neighbors.
I’m heading back to Washington to vote NO on a bad deal for the American people that doesn’t address the Republican health care crisis.
We will continue to show our power & fight so our fellow Americans aren’t poorer & sicker, and can afford their care.
Closed out the day with state & local leaders at the RI Veterans Home in Bristol to celebrate all those who have bravely served our country.
Also listened to a poignant essay on the importance of voting from Mount St. Charles student & 2025 Patriot Pen winner Brooke Perron. 🇺🇸
At the Barrington Veterans Day Celebration, I had the honor of meeting three World War II veterans alongside other brave Rhode Island veterans from the Korean War and Vietnam War at Atria Senior Living Center.
Our nation will be forever grateful for their service.
Always a great tradition to join the Infantry Lodge Association’s 106th Annual Veterans Day and Armistice Day celebration.
Every year, the menu features the requests of returning Rhode Island WWI vets: chowder, hot dogs, chips and beer.
On Veterans Day we honor the heroes who served and defended our nation in uniform.
To every Veteran, and the families who stand beside them, thank you for your service and sacrifice.
Joined @magaziner.house.gov to listen to Health Center leaders share how federal inaction will make our health care crisis worse.
From cutting Medicaid to not extending ACA tax credits, Trump & House Republicans are making Rhode Islanders sicker and poorer.
We will keep pushing back.
Happy 250th Birthday to the U.S. Marine Corps!
Thank you to every Marine, past and present, for serving our nation with unwavering strength and honor.
If the Senate’s CR deal comes to the House, I’m voting no.
Trump and Republicans created a health care crisis we need to tackle. Anything short of meaningful action on ACA tax credits doesn’t meet the moment.
At times like these, our community is especially grateful for the leaders & volunteers of the MAE Organization.
Congrats on 17 years of work and I’ll continue to work in Congress to stop cuts to programs that support the hungry & the homeless.
Congratulations to new Community College of Rhode Island president, Dr. Rosemary Costigan.
CCRI is where my mom was trained as a nurse, so I’m thrilled to see the first alum & nursing leader lead this essential RI institution.
Honored to celebrate this new chapter for CCRI.
Ahead of Veterans Day, I joined the Visiting Nurse Association of Care New England to honor Veterans working in health care and highlight the need to safeguard and expand care for those who’ve served.
Together, we will keep working to protect & expand Veterans’ health care access.
One month after the ceasefire agreement, sufficient humanitarian aid is not reaching those struggling in Gaza.
I’m leading 125 @housedemocrats.bsky.social urging Secretary Rubio to fulfill the ceasefire agreement and get enough water, food & supplies to Palestinian civilians.
Congratulations to East Providence’s first-ever U.S. Presidential Scholar, Ty Messier!
Ty was an outstanding leader, scholar, and athlete at EP High School. I can’t wait to see what he does next!
🚨RI Judge Jack McConnell orders Trump to pay this month’s SNAP in FULL. 🚨
Trump needs to comply with the court ASAP.
It’s long past time to help 42 million Americans and 144,000 Rhode Islanders going hungry.
Trump’s economy:

Housing: 📈📈📈📈
Health care:📈📈📈📈📈
Trump is leaving us worse off — and it’s very clear to all who is to blame.
Proud to recognize the RI Coalition for Children and Families for their decade of tireless work supporting the health, safety, and success of Rhode Island’s children and families.
We must keep working together to protect essential services and offer Rhode Islanders hope in their time of need.
