Today, we honor our veterans for Veterans Day. But last night, Senate Republicans passed a spending bill that fails to extend the tax credits that help lower health costs for millions of Americans, including more than half a million veterans.

This Veterans Day and every day, we honor our veterans and thank them for their service and commitment to our country.
These tax credits are a lifeline. Hardworking Americans deserve a bill that works for them. They deserve affordable care. @HouseDemocrats.bsky.social will continue our fight until the last vote is counted on the House floor. I will NOT support this bill.
Senate Republicans’ spending bill fails to extend the tax credits that help make health care more affordable for millions of American families.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social will fight this bill in the House because Americans deserve lower health care costs.
Trump and Republicans created a health care crisis in America. Senate Republicans’ spending bill will let the health care tax credits expire, causing insurance premiums to skyrocket next year.
The fight to lower healthcare costs for Americans continues, with the same level of commitment and fight that Americans deserve. The Senate bill fails to meet the moment to bring costs down to ensure affordable health care for all Americans.
Cruelty IS the point. Trump’s weaponized hunger so the Trump/Republican shutdown can continue. @HouseDemocrats.bsky.social will keep fighting to reopen the government and make sure Americans receive their full SNAP benefits — no government should rip food out of the mouths of hardworking Americans.
The Trump admin is now threatening states: either don’t give 42 million Americans all of the money they need to put food on the table — or face the consequences.

Thank you to all family caregivers for your compassion, strength, and dedication — as a caregiver myself, I will continue to fight for much-deserved recognition and resources.
This year’s theme is #PlugInToCare, highlighting the need for more resources to make the caregiving journey less overwhelming and more supported.
November is #NationalFamilyCaregiversMonth, a time to recognize the more than 63 million dedicated caregivers who work hard every day to care for their loved ones, often putting others’ needs before their own and often unpaid.

House Republicans are on week 6 of their vacation.
Senate Republicans refuse to address health care crisis.
Republicans have been on vacation for 6 weeks while Americans suffer. It’s time for Republicans to reopen the government and join @housedemocrats.bsky.social to extend the health care tax credits NOW.
Spoke with a constituent from #LongBeach today — she told me that her health care premiums will rise from $383 to $999 per month. Hardworking Americans should not have to shell out nearly a thousand dollars a month out of pocket to pay for health care.
