This is the reality for millions across the country because Republicans refused to extend the enhanced health care tax credits. @housedemocrats.bsky.social successfully forced a vote to extend the tax credits for 3-years to help lower health care costs.

The Senate should vote NO this week to funding DHS until major reforms are made to ICE and Border Patrol.
Under her failed leadership, DHS has terrorized communities, shot and killed Americans and immigrants in detention. Instead of taking responsibility, Noem has rushed to blame the victims. She must be held accountable.
It’s simple: Kristi Noem needs to resign or be fired. If not, we’ll work to impeach her.
We need strong chemical safety laws to prevent tragedies like this — but Republicans’ bill would weaken the EPA’s ability to protect people from dangerous chemicals.
PFAS chemicals like GenX can be found in pots and pans, food packaging, and more.
Marketed as a “safer alternative,” GenX still ended up polluting drinking water and has been linked to cancer in communities.
Colleen’s 3-yr-old daughter had a tumor —> United Healthcare denied her treatments —> their family ended up over $1 MILLION in debt.
Health insurance companies’ claim denials are literally risking people’s lives. Americans should NOT be denied the care that they need while CEOs rake in millions.

NO reforms, NO oversight, NO accountability = a NO vote from me on funding for the Department of Homeland Security.
We cannot turn a blind eye or support money for DHS as ICE racially profiles, physically assaults, and violates the rights of our neighbors and terrorizes our communities.
Republicans’ bill guts the Clean Air Act, which will increase asthma attacks, emergency room visits caused by breathing problems, and lower babies’ birth weight.
My amendment would stop this bill from taking effect until the EPA can be sure that Americans’ public health is protected.
