The best I can say about Trump’s SOTU speech last night is that it probably does reflect the actual state of our union: a disaster. We have an unhinged madman in the presidency and a Republican Congress that refuses to question or check him.
You deserve better.
Trump’s tariffs are raising prices, tanking our economy, and hurting Americans.
His own SCOTUS judges ruled that they’re illegal. But he’s doubling down and trying any trick he can find to reimpose them. He needs to get off his tariff obsession and do something to actually lower costs.
We’re gearing up to hear a lot of lies in Trump’s State of the Union, so here’s the truth: Donald Trump has failed the American people.
The economy is tanking, health care is unaffordable, ICE is terrorizing communities, our democracy is under siege – and you deserve better.
What’s in the Epstein Files is horrific.
Enough with the politics. We need to hold all of these predators accountable and get justice for victims.
Republicans are doubling down on their extreme SAVE Act with an even crazier bill to hand over voters’ personal data to Kristi Noem and ICE. They’re trying to rig the system with this federal takeover of state and local elections. Here’s what I’m doing on #TheFlipSide, to protect your rights.
Our taxpayer dollars should be helping people in our communities afford groceries and health care, not funding terror in our streets. This violence cannot be justified, and it's long past time that Trump reins in ICE and establishes a fair, humane immigration system.
Trump’s stupid, useless tariffs are costing everyday Americans $1,000 a year. Republicans need to work with Democrats to lower the cost of living instead of going along with every scam Trump concocts for his billionaire buddies.
Trump wants to nationalize our elections, and Republicans are enabling him. This insane bill is the latest remix of their decades-long crusade to destroy voting rights – but even worse. It blocks millions of eligible Americans from registering to vote, including military families, women, and more.
This post from anyone, let alone the President, is inexcusably racist and vile. Trump's agenda is clear – from hateful social media posts to brutal ICE raids to attacking voting rights. It is completely unacceptable.
We haven't seen this many layoffs since 2009, and Trump is making things worse. Families are struggling to afford food and health care, and that should be our focus right now – not building new ballrooms and ignoring what the American people need.
The American people have been loud and clear – they want affordable health care, not handouts for billionaires. Trump and Republicans in Congress need to get their priorities straight.

It’s time for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition! Every year, I look forward to seeing the incredible artwork that students up and down the North Coast create and can’t wait to see what you have in store. Submit here: huffman.house.gov/helping-you/...
While Trump’s ICE agents terrorize communities and shoot people down in our streets, Republicans are trying to pass even more funding for this rogue police force. On #TheFlipSide, I'm voting NO to more funding and pushing for bills that establish guardrails and protections.
People are struggling to put food on the table. Instead of making groceries more affordable, Republicans are trying to give ICE thugs $40K+ bonuses to and doing nothing to address hard-working Americans' real problems. House Democrats and I are focused on making life better for people, not harder.
ICE is already out of control and abusing every ounce of power they get. Letting them arrest people without warrants is going to make this horrific situation even worse.
What in the authoritarian-takeover hell is this?
Arresting journalists for doing their job is horrific. The Trump admin is breaking the law to silence reporters and hide the truth.
Tribal nations deserve a seat at the table when deciding what happens on their lands – and Trump’s ruthless budget cuts and job-slashing sprees are making that kind of collaboration even harder.
We need more resources to make co-management as successful as possible, and I’ll keep prioritizing that.
Life in Trump’s America is not affordable. Republicans promised to look out for hardworking people, and clearly, they lied.
I'm working with my Democratic colleagues every day to drive down prices.
Designating the Bay Area Ridge Trail as a National Scenic Trail would help complete it and set it on par with iconic trails like the Appalachian and Pacific Crest.
Senator Schiff and I are thrilled to be getting the ball rolling.
