The 1st Amendment guarantees a right to free speech, not just speech you agree with. Mahmoud Khalil is a legal resident and deporting him because the admin doesn’t like what he said without any due process, is a blatant shredding of our Constitution. This is a dangerous precedent.

Today, I joined over 150 of my Dem colleagues to call out Pres Trump's firing of the USPS Board of Governors. The USPS is often the only carrier that delivers vital supplies, like meds, to our rural areas. We should be investing in the USPS, not finding ways to remove its independence & shutter it.

This International Women’s Day, we remember that while today women voting, having credit cards, or holding a job is normal – it was once a radical idea. The achievements of the women's movement show us that progress is possible, but the state of the country makes clear that we have to keep fighting.

As he rambles, don't forget one simple fact: When Trump took office, our economy was estimated to grow by nearly 4% this year. Today, it is expected to get 2.8% SMALLER. Our economic outlook has shrunk nearly 7% in 42 DAYS Eggs? More expensive. Gas prices? Rising.

🚨 “The agriculture industry lost $26 BILLION from retaliatory tariffs in 2018 and 2019 — the first time Trump launched a trade war” Our farmers have barely recovered from Trump’s first term tariffs. Now he is doing it again, the same exact way, but magically expects this time to be different.

Let’s be clear: tariffs are not inherently bad; tariffs are PART of the solution to help domestic manufacturing. Tariffs paired with DOMESTIC INVESTMENT, in the sectors which the tariffs target, can spur domestic growth. Without that, they raise prices, screw workers & hurt American consumers.

If President Trump and House Republicans want to find fraud in Medicaid or Medicare, they shouldn’t start with working people or seniors, they should start with providers who rip off the government for their gain. You know, the kind FL Senator Rick Scott’s company was fined $1.6 BILLION for.
