Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that every mother should have access to help. My Mental Health and MAMA Act would make mental health care and substance use treatment more affordable for pregnant and postpartum moms.
Join me and some of your local elected officials this Saturday! I know folks have lots of questions and I’m ready to answer them.
The history of trying to disenfranchise African Americans is American history.
Not only to deny us the vote, but our humanity.
This will not be the end. A new day will surface. Why? Because we are undeterred.
We know you don’t, Donald.
If you did, you wouldn’t prioritize spending billions on a foreign war and asking for taxpayer money for your One Big, Beautiful Ballroom that was supposed to be “privately funded.”
Not only has Congresswoman Kiggans not apologized for agreeing that Leader Jeffries has “cotton-picking hands,” she’s doubled down and made excuses.
What message does that send to the 20% of her constituents that are Black? VA-02 deserves better.

“President Trump has sort of taken every problem on earth and got 100% at fixing it.”
- Trump’s own Director of the Economic Council, a message sure to resonate with Americans struggling to afford gas, groceries, health care and housing
Donald Trump promised to make life affordable and be a “peace president.”
Instead, he cut taxes for billionaires, started a war in Iran, and this week is asking Republicans in Congress to fund his ballroom vanity project with $1 BILLION of taxpayer dollars.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms and mother figures out there. Today we’re celebrating you!
It’s not just basic necessities being drive up by Trump’s illegal tariffs.
Even buying mom flowers hits your wallet.
Donald Trump, the loser of the 2020 presidential election, continues to whine and use intimidation tactics against election officials.
Donald Trump’s illegal tariffs are killing small businesses.
In 2025, small businesses cut nearly 300k jobs. That’s 4.5X larger than the number lost during the pandemic.
To make it worse, Congressional Republicans are helping Trump crush small businesses.
Last week, the Ways and Means Committee unanimously passed my bipartisan legislation to help foster youth.
These bills will help foster youth build supportive networks and access affordable housing as they age out of the system.

Trump and congressional Republicans let the tax credits that helped millions afford their health care EXPIRE - in favor of a plan that would be good for the wealthy ⬇️

Families are already struggling with rising costs, and now, gas prices are skyrocketing thanks to President Trump’s war with Iran. Wisconsin families cannot afford this continued recklessness.

“I believe that if you have good economic policies, you're naturally going to have a strong dollar.” - Scott Bessent
I don’t know if Pete Hegseth has had a few too many to keep his timeline straight, but for the record, enforcing a blockade is in fact an act of war.
