This weekend, I joined the Boulder community to honor the victims of the horrific Pearl Street Mall attack and shared a few words of hope at the 30th annual Boulder Jewish Festival. We all must recommit ourselves to ending the scourge of antisemitism and hatred.
Like millions of Americans, my family has been impacted by the terrible scourge of cancer. The Trump administration’s new CMS rule will be life-threatening for countless cancer patients on Medicaid across our country. They must reverse course — immediately.
Wildfires impact every community, which is why all levels of government need to work together to mitigate wildfire risks. Grateful that the House passed my bipartisan Cross-Boundary Wildfire Solutions Act, which does precisely that. We’ll keep pushing to get it across the finish line!
As some Republicans pursue cuts to programs for needy families — under the guise of combatting “fraud” — it bears repeating that they said nothing after the Trump administration rescinded a $100 million penalty on Mississippi in one of the worst TANF frauds in our country’s history.
Back in D.C., and on the agenda this week for House Republicans? Massive cuts to programs that assist our farmers, ranchers, and communities in rural America — all while spending millions on President Trump’s vanity projects.
The Trump administration’s cruel policies have harmed our immigrant communities in countless ways. Today, I'm proud to lead Colorado's House Democratic delegation with @bennet.senate.gov in introducing legislation that demands transparency and accountability. 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
🚨 BREAKING The Trump administration's attempt to transfer NCAR's supercomputing facility was blocked in federal court today. NCAR belongs to the American people, and we will keep pushing to make sure its world-renowned programs are not dismantled, privatized, or pushed out of Colorado.
Today, we learned in the New York Times that an “NPS analysis found that the contractor given a no-bid contract to repair the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is being paid an inflated and excessive profit margin.”
Thanks to the tireless advocacy of Jill and Michael White—who have courageously championed legislative reforms following the tragic loss of their incredible son, Magnus, to help prevent future tragedies—our proposal to make our roads safer for cyclists and pedestrians advanced out of committee.
Grateful to all of our talented student artists from across Colorado’s 2nd District for participating in the annual Congressional Art Competition — our community is deeply impressed by their creativity and incredible talent! 🎨🖼️
Grateful to everyone who joined Team Neguse last week at our Mobile Office Hours in Lyons! If you need assistance with federal agencies, including the IRS, VA, Social Security, etc., please don’t hesitate to reach out!
🚨GREAT NEWS — My bipartisan bill to address gaps in recycling and composting infrastructure across the country passed committee and is now heading to the House Floor for a full vote!  ♻️

Proud to have worked with Rep. Jeff Hurd, @bennet.senate.gov, @hickenlooper.senate.gov & countless local leaders to secure this critical funding for the Shoshone Permanency Project! The project will truly have a generational impact for the folks I represent on Colorado’s Western Slope. Onwards!
This is a big day for one of the most important water conservation efforts in our state’s history. Read my statement on welcoming $40 million in Shoshone Permanency Project funding after years of hard work with local leaders across the Western Slope ⬇️
Today, on Memorial Day, we honor our brave service-members who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice and given everything to defend our great nation and freedoms. We are forever in your debt. 🇺🇲
