I’m fighting to provide quality care for our underserved communities.
I recently toured Medical Teams International in Tigard and saw their Care & Connect Mobile Health Clinics. I also heard from them about the challenges they’re facing with Republicans’ Medicaid cuts.
Fired up to welcome the team back home ❤️
Happy 3rd Birthday to the 988 Lifeline! 🥳
As Co-Chair of the Bipartisan Mental Health Caucus, I'm committed to supporting this essential service.
I'll continue advocating for funding & safeguarding their specialty lines, including the LGBTQ+ line, to ensure everyone receives the care they need.

The One Big Ugly Law raises costs across the board.
🍎It drives up grocery prices while taking food assistance away from children & seniors.
🪫It causes utility bills to climb by $400 a year for the average household.
Life in America is already too expensive, & Republicans are making it even worse.
Rather than focusing on violent criminals, President Trump seems intent on deporting the hardworking folks who came to this country for a better life.
And now he’s hurting our farmers and our economy.

Congrats, Bryan and Amaya 💜
July is BIPOC Mental Health Month, and as President Trump continues to cut essential funding and government websites with vital information, we must ensure that our communities can access the resources needed to break stigma and seek help. #MentalHealthMonday

Trump’s Big Ugly Tax Scam will kick up to 200,000 Oregonians off their health care while robbing billions of dollars from the Oregon Health Plan. It also leaves Oregon taxpayers on the hook to pay for these draconian cuts.
This bill won’t just cost billions; it will cost lives. That’s unacceptable.

The Trump Administration Department of Education and OMB are illegally withholding $7 billion in education funding, jeopardizing the success of millions of students.
I'm leading 150 House Democrats in demanding answers.
Giving Elon Musk’s DOGE access to farmers’ sensitive data and the ability to cancel USDA loans without oversight is ridiculous. Our government should be working WITH our farmers — never against them.
This week, I toured Tabula Rasa Farms in #Yamhill County and saw their regenerative practices firsthand. As a member of the Agriculture Committee, I know how vital sustainable agriculture is for our future.
I’m proud of the work they are doing and excited it's happening right here in #OR06. 🧑🌾
As wildfire season starts, crews are already fighting these deadly blazes. I'm grateful to our firefighters who keep our communities safe, and I'll keep working to ensure they have the resources and staffing needed to stop these fires effectively and safely.
Oregon could lose enough renewable energy to power 1 million homes.
Sadly, the Big, Ugly Tax Scam does more than strip away health care and SNAP — it'll hike up energy costs, hurt businesses, and take a huge step back in curbing the climate crisis.
My SNAP E&T DATA Act helps provide people with the tools they need to build a better life for themselves and their families. (3/3)

SNAP is critical to ensuring that children, veterans, and seniors across Oregon don’t go hungry.
Given that Congressional Republicans just slashed SNAP benefits and imposed harsh work requirements, this bill is more important than ever. (2/3)
I reintroduced my bill to improve employment & training opportunities for SNAP recipients, helping to put them on the pathway to self-sufficiency. Follow along to learn more 👇 (1/3)
